About the Game

A Relaxing Idle Creature Collector
Tiny Monster Haven sits cozily at the bottom of your screen, letting you raise your monsters at your own pace.
Become the caretaker of your own Monster Haven and raise a variety of monsters to help run things smoothly.
Improve monster stats by feeding them crops and delicious meals. Let them battle or play minigames to earn further rewards such as coins and Monster Essence, with which you can improve your Haven and monsters!
Each monster contributes in different ways: some will water and pollinate your crops while others help out with the harvest. Certain monsters even cook meals for your team!

Build up Your Monster Team
Choose your Starter to take on your role as monster caretaker.

Plant many types of crops and watch them grow while you play with your monsters or focus on other things. Once they're ready you can harvest and feed them to your monsters to improve their stats!
Cook delicious meals for your monsters by choosing from a wide variety of tasty recipes! These delightful treats will further boost and level-up your monsters, making them more effective in combat and minigames.
Harness Monster Essence from defeated wild monsters. Use it to power-up and evolve your monsters or to expand your team with new monster eggs!

Embark on a Campaign to become the Best Monster Battler
Challenge the Elemental Gurus and other tamers in an expansive mini-campaign.
Make the most of your monster team in the challenging 2v2 and 3v3 battles.
Become the regional champion by winning the grand tournament!

Put your monsters to the test in tactical turn-based combat! Make clever use of varied stamina-based moves with tons of status effects. If your monsters are in a tough spot, perhaps their Overdrive ability can make the difference?
Hatch and evolve them all
Complete your monster compendium by hatching and evolving over 50 unique monsters.
Make your compendium truely shine with 2 Astral color variants per monster! Defeat a wild Astral to pick up an Uncommon or Rare Astral Gem. Give it to an Egg and hatch your own Astral variants.
Chill and Customize your Haven
Decorate your Haven with tons of unlockable scenery. Scenery isn't just for show, every item you place will improve the efficiency of your monsters and your Haven.
Enter your monsters in various minigames such as the Monster Race. Each minigame further enhances a specific skill.
Enjoy a Living, Breathing World
Experience a seemless day/night cycle and the passing of the 4 seasons. Each season has its own weather patterns such as rain or snow. Be on the lookout for certain wild monsters that only appear at specific seasons or at certain times of the day!

Steam Patch Notes
Official update history
- Increased radius of the "sell area" from 0.25 to 0.35 to reduce accidental misclicks
- Food taken from a box and accidentally placed outside of the Haven will no longer disappear into the abyss, instead it will reset just above the box it was taken from
- Fixed a click order issue in which sometimes objects in a box wouldn't pick up if there was a box behind the button
- Fixed an issue where some cooked food turned into wheat when a monster took it from a crate and put it in picnic basket
- Ptarmiga, Hydreopard and other mons with "SetPicnic" ability will no longer steal food from a box if no picnic basket is present
- Fixed many map edge cases that would allow monsters to sneak out of the map and get stuck in cliffs or on water edges
- The "max level reached" message, which is shown when Lvl 100 monsters eat, will no longer be shown if non-vital tooltips are turned off to avoid late-Haven message spam
- Monsters with "SetPicnic" as second behavior will now prioritise that over their first behavior
- Fixed "game not always displayed ontop" setting not saving after game reload
- Added a possible fix for certain tooltips never disappearing (let me know if the issue still occurs sometimes)

- Added a DISCORD server link to main menu
Thanks to everyone who's reported issues or given suggestions!
More to come!
- Added an indication for if a mon is "Astral". A little gem will be shown to the bottom-right of their portrait.
- Added the type chart. It is shown left from the options menu, you can hide/show it by pressing the small button to the left of the "HOTKEYS" text.
- Updated achievement descriptions for shiny hunter to clarify you must have 10 uncommon/rare Astrals at the same time, instead of just having hatched 10.
- Updated "Horn Bash" move to be Insect type instead of Normal and re-named it to "Crest Bash".
- Fixed a bug in which monsters would stop moving entirely if they were being pet while eating from a picnic.

- You can now insta-sell FOOD and CROPS while holding SHIFT+CTRL and clicking on food/crop stacks. A corresponding note has been added to the shop.
- Fixed Ignitodon not always cooking when they should. Also applies to other monsters with the "Recook" ability.
- Added a number next to eggs in the eggshop to show how many of that monster you already have in your Haven.
- When using a shovel to clear a garden plot of a previous crop, monsters with the "Reseed" ability will now wait 45 seconds before attempting to plant something on it (previously this cooldown timer was 30 seconds).
- "Hi customer!" dialogue box will no longer be shown after purchasing a merchant's stock.
- Added checks to prevent feeding Energy & Tummy Candy to Monsters that have Energy/Tummy maxed out.
- Fixed egg essence-cost not always going back down when selling a monster.
More updates to come!
Up until now the game was set to use v-sync, which in many cases caused the game to use more CPU than it really needs to. With this update you can choose between:
- 60 FPS
- 30 FPS
- v-sync
The new default is 60 FPS. If you were happy with how it ran originally, you can switch back to v-sync.
Additionally an option has been added to toggle off the "nighttime" effect, which is a fairly heavy piece of code. This might also be useful for players who simply prefer the bright day-time colors at all time.
Toggling off nighttime will further reduce CPU useage and will not affect the progression of time. In the background, the game will still think it is nighttime, and seasons will still come and go.
Both settings can be found to the right of the options menu, see image below.
Thanks for all your positivity, feedback and patience! I will continue to improve and add onto the game. Next I will work on adding some QoL based on player feedback!

I've been made aware that some players are experiencing issues with the game, and this first patch aims to improve that. More to come.
This patch contains:
- a fix for an issue in which autosave ends up failing for some players
- updated "game transparency" code, which should improve stability in certain cases
I am also aware of a crash issue that some players are experiencing. While the above fixes may help with the issue, I am still investigating further improvements.
It's a tricky issue to resolve as me and my team of testers are not yet able to reproduce it, but I'm going to keep working at it!
