About the Game
Welcome to Mt. Holly, the mysterious manor with shifting rooms. In Blue Prince, you embark on a genre-defying experience, filled with a unique mix of mystery, strategy, and puzzles that weave together to create an unpredictable journey. Will your explorative steps lead you to the rumored Room 46?
Upon reaching a closed door in Mt. Holly, you decide what room appears behind it and each decision shapes your path as you navigate through the manor. Every door can reveal new and exciting chambers that contain their own unique challenges and secrets. But be careful how you draft, for each day the manor’s floor plan resets and the rooms you saw today may not be the same rooms you see tomorrow.
Your progress each day is shaped by the rooms you select to draft and the tools you find within them. Items in the game can be used in a number of creative ways to fuel your exploration deeper into the house, allowing you to adopt unique strategies to combat the challenges that each day brings. Yet, tread wisely – the house resets each dawn, erasing all but the permanent upgrades to your estate blueprint. That is, if you were clever enough to find one!
As the heir of Mt. Holly, you have been tasked to explore its shifting halls in search of Room 46. Yet as your journey takes you further into the mansion’s depths, you start to discover that there is more lurking under the surface than a missing room. Investigate a past woven with the threads of blackmail, political intrigue, and the mysterious disappearance of a local children’s book author. The deeper you venture, the more you realize that the past is closer than it appears.

- Fixed a few problematic colliders that made some dig spots in the house harder to trigger.

- Added a safety collider in the basement to prevent players from accidentally clipping through the floor while operating heavy machinery.
- Restored the right-mouse icon to the above action UI.
- Adjusted a few colliders in the basement to prevent a narrow softlock.
- Fixed a softlock that occurred when digging up a buried hint after earning a trophy but not actually picking it up.
- Fixed a large number of corner-case bugs associated with the mechanics of one of Guest Bedroom’s upgraded floorplans.
- Adjusted the pages in a letter found in the Study to make page turning more intuitive.
- Fixed a very rare bug that would result in the Toolshed appearing to only contain one item.
- Fixed an oversight that caused a blue item to not spawn when its room was drafted as an outer room.
- Three Day Blessing of the Tinkerer and Chef gold amounts have been swapped to correctly align their intended blessing thresholds. (This will align with the higher tiers now.)
- The list of blessings printed in an issue of Drafting Strategy has been reordered and reformatted.
- Finally fixed an elusive bug that prevented the Kennel’s effect from working correctly in The Foundation.
Challenge Mode / Speedrunning Changelog
The below changelog includes challenge mode related and other game mechanics and bugs that players will not typically encounter through regular play.
- Fixed a troublesome bug in Dare Mode that sometimes failed a certain dare involving red rooms when the player used Secret Garden Key or a similar special key (or a berry) while drafting.
- Fixed a bug that sometimes caused the fourth dare presented to the player to be blank.
- Fixed an unintended issue that only flagged the player as having ‘been cursed’ after reading the curse description in the menu. It now sets the flag correctly.
- A certain in-game timer (utilized by players that play on dare and curse mode and other speed challenges) now doesn’t begin until the player has begun moving on day one.
- Addressed several raycast and UI button issues that sometimes caused major bugs when fast clicking in UI menus. This fixed several issues including misaligned inputs (different buttons/floorplans are pressed than the one you clicked), softlocks and glitches within the Drafting UI, Basement Door UI, Regular Door UI, and other ‘Use a key’ UIs.
- Fixed a bug causing the hand cursor to persist beyond drafting after selecting a floorplan quickly.
- Fixed an issue that caused HLC to inadvertently be removed from the Draft Pool under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue that could unintentionally make Workshop less common after an item interaction under certain circumstances.
- The Armory is no longer incorrectly categorized as a gem room when you begin the day with Mantle of the Knight.
The patch is now live on Steam and will be available for Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch 2 players soon.

We have released hotfix 1.7.2 to fix a corner case softlock.
Changelog:
- Fixed a softlock that could occur while unlocking the first door of the day if a player clicked the USE KEY button too quickly after hovering over the SPECIAL KEY button immediately after clicking on a door. Due to the frame precise nature of this issue, this bug effectively only ever occurred in speedrunning contexts.

Hello everyone,
We have released patch 1.6 this afternoon for Steam players. This patch addresses a number of issues reported by the community. This update should be available on consoles within a week or two.
The changelog below may include spoilers for some rarer rooms and mechanics.
Patch 1.6 changelog
Added ability to manually “restore from backup” to the save menu. This is the same redundant safety system that was implemented in patch 1.5 to automatically restore a backup save in case of file corruption. Manual restoration may be useful for edge cases in which the main file is overwritten but not corrupted (one example may be a platform based cloud save conflict that was resolved incorrectly.) This feature can be found in the Save Menu.
Fixed a softlock that would occur when attempting to use a certain special key in the Vestibule .
In the Conservatory , controller support now works as intended while resetting rarity using the Room Directory .
Fixed a bug that has eluded us for a long time that was unintentionally preventing something rare being dug up from dig spots. (A scrap of paper containing a hint for contraption components.) This scrap can only be dug up in a save file where the contraption has not been built and it will only have a chance of appearing later in the game. Dig spot odds have also been subtly adjusted to ensure that this fix does not worsen item discovery or trash chances.
Fixed a rare bug that would occasionally allow an extra classroom to appear in the draft pool after all classrooms in the draft pool had already been drafted.
Fixed a bug that was preventing one of the default classrooms to be drafted in corner and edge locations in the house.
Fixed a few other rare issues preventing some rooms from unintentionally being unable to be drafted in certain locations in the house.
Fixed a bug that would sometimes offer players a “blank” reward in the Chamber of Mirrors .
Safety mechanism put in place to prevent a bug that was resulting in some players encountering three blank parlor boxes.
Fixed bug causing some items in certain classrooms to spawn offset from its desk.
Fixed a bug causing the metal detector to continue beeping after picking up a key in the Laundry Room.
Fixed a bug causing the metal detector to continue beeping after picking up the Key of A**** .
Audio added for SD raising event.
Fixed a narrow issue in which Greenhouse would sometimes be inadvertently removed from the draft pool while drafting south in the West Wing.
Fixed a bug with Commissary Special Orders that could delay some special orders from fulfilling.
Fixed a few discrepancies in the Commissary's listed sale prices and signs.
Typo for “features” fixed in Drafting Strategy Vol 2
Fixed a typo caused by hyphenation in Drafting Strategy Vol 5
Adjusted some details in the final exam’s first question to be more geographically clear.
Typo for “Synka” fixed in a terminal message related to packet transfers.
Changed a component in a grid that was mathematically inconsistent.
Fixed a regional character issue preventing repellent to work correctly in the Foundation for players in some regions.
And lastly,
Fixed a recently introduced bug resulting in The Foundation sometimes not appearing at the beginning of the day.
Patch 1.6 not 1.06?
We wanted to clean up our versioning scheme to align a bit more with Patch 1.10 which will be the tenth and final major patch to the game. We didn’t want this patch numerically mistaken for Patch 1.1 which now designates the first patch of the game, so major patches will proceed very logically in sequence - 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 etc. while minor patches and hotfixes will use a third patch number such as our last hotfix which was 1.5.1.
Thank you to everyone for your careful and diligent reporting of issues and bugs — it makes a huge difference

This is a hotfix for an issue that was introduced that was preventing some players from progressing. Full details of the hotfix contain spoilers: Fixed a conflict interfering with the intended functionality of the remote power box (red door) permanently staying open. This hotfix has corrected this issue and this door should remain open for all subsequent days.
This hotfix is now live on Steam and console players should see this early next week.

Hello drafters,
We have released patch 1.5 this afternoon for Steam players. This patch addresses a number of issues reported by the community. Save Corruption & Loading Freeze Fixes
We've identified and addressed several edge cases that were causing save file corruption, resulting in a loading freeze when accessing the main menu. Unfortunately, if your save file was affected by these issues, we are sorry to say that means it is corrupted and irretrievable despite our best efforts to find a way to restore it.
This update also includes multiple fixes aimed at preventing these corruption cases from occurring in the future. Several code checks have been added to reduce the chance of corruption including redundant checking of the validity of the save before writing it. Additionally, we’ve implemented an automatic backup system: if the primary save becomes corrupted or lost, a backup save will now load instead. If you are PS Plus user whose save file has been affected by this, we have had a few encouraging reports from users who were able to restore a backup of their save file via Playstation Plus cloud storage. To restore from cloud on PS5 follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings.
2. Select Saved Data (PS5).
3. Choose Download or Delete from Cloud Storage.
4. Select the game and then the specific save file you want to restore.
5. Choose Download.
We are also currently implementing an “IMPORT TROPHY DATA” feature to work with platform achievements that had been previously earned in previous save files (even if they don’t exist in any of your current save files.) This feature will be included in an upcoming patch.
FURTHER CHANGES IN THIS PATCH LISTED BELOW:
Fixed a bug occurring when consecutive Parlor boxes were opened too quickly.
Fixed an input recognition issue on keyboard where \[Right Arrow] and \ were incorrectly interpreted as CONFIRM in certain cases.
Corrected some minor magnification issues and inconsistencies in font usage in the following locations - Library, \Master Bedroom\, \Vault. \
Unified all instances of ‘Mary Matthew’ to a consistent spelling. (One instance had a typo.)
LATE GAME SPOILERS BELOW
\You can now reset rarity changes that you have made to your floorplans. The method is explained in the Conservatory menu as floorplan rarity can only be reset in the Conservatory).\
\The doors powered by remote power boxes are now opened by button press instead of unlocking automatically. These doors will remain permanently unlocked after being opened.\
\A trunk in the Treasure Trove incorrectly displaying the moon symbol has been changed to the sun symbol. (A blue memo was incorrectly being labeled as false.\
We also have corrected a few oversights and bugs in the room drafting logic. Below are listed a few of the resulting technical corrections that may be of interest.
\Master Bedroom will no longer erroneously appear in places other than the East Wing (Rank 9 related bug)\
\Fixed a narrow bug permitting Foundation to be added to the draft pool after repellent use before 7 days had transpired.\
\Foundation will no longer be drawn with as much frequency on Ranks 2 and 3\
\An oversight in outer room drafting logic has been corrected concerning day one and outer room rarities have been slightly flattened across the board.\
The patch is live now on Steam. We expect the patch to be available to Xbox and PlayStation players before the weekend.

Hello drafters,
We have released a patch this afternoon to hotfix a a few issues caused by the introduction of the “hold to skip” cinematic feature in our update last Thursday:
- Fixed a bug introduced by our latest “hold to skip” update that would sometimes remove the Step Count UI if a player briefly pressed escape/back button during a cinematic but did not actually skip it.
- Fixed a bug causing players to fall out of bounds, if they skipped a certain cinematic SAFE H _ _ _ _ ) during a narrow window of timing during that cinematic (around 2.5 seconds after the cinematic started playing.) Now, you can now freely skip this cinematic at any time.
- This one is a bit more spoiling: Fixed an issue that was causing Antechamber Lever pulls to be occasionally off-sync in a certain monk related situation. Players who encountered this bug may have interpreted it as the levers not working, but they were merely functioning backwards. Antechamber levers in this situation will once again work as expected now.
This update is live on Steam now. Xbox and PS5 players should expect to see this update in a day or two.

This patch is live now on Steam and will roll out to Xbox and PlayStation players before the weekend.
PlayStation 5 Save Rollback Issue
We are aware of the PS5 save rollback issues that many players have reported and the team are working directly with Sony on this as a matter of priority and we hope to have an update soon.
We apologize for the amount of time this is taking to fix, anything affecting saves is very sensitive and so we need to allow enough time for thorough testing.
If you are impacted by this issue please submit a ticket to our support desk: https://rawfury.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1 including your PSN ID and the size of your save file to help the team narrow in on a fix.
We thank you for your patience while we work on this issue.
As soon as we have an update about the PS5 save rollback issue we will make an announcement to let everyone know.

Hello,
We have released a patch this afternoon to address the save file issue that some players were reporting. This patch will be rolling out to Steam as you're reading this, and is planned to roll out to Xbox/Gamepass/Win 10 and Playstation platforms before the weekend.
The changelog below contains spoilers.
- Fixed SAVE FILE bug that caused some user’s save files to roll back several days to an older, prior save state. This bug was caused by our internal save backup system which has now been disabled.
- Temporarily disabled the Main Menu credits from auto-playing on idle as this was causing issues when players would click “continue” within a few frames of the credits starting.
- Fixed some typos.
LATE GAME SPOILERS BELOW :
- Fixed a bug involving the resetting of the position of a giant gear from day to day that had a small potential to lock players from accessing an area.
We want to thank you for bringing this issue to our attention and your patience whilst we investigated and worked towards a solution.
Dogubomb/Raw Fury
Hello!
Our second patch is now available on Steam so please make sure to update your clients. Playstation and Microsoft players can expect the same patch to arrive next week, delayed slightly by the weekend interrupting the necessary testing and certification protocols.
Be advised, the following notes contain spoilers so browse at your own peril:
- Added redundant video files of our cinematics compatible with more Steam Decks. This is the fix responsible for the increase in the game’s file size.
- Fixed camera lock that occurred while reaccessing the lab machine on subsequent days after activating it / solving it.
- Misc. typo and text format fixes.
- Fixed major bug causing rarity and directory data to be read from previously accessed save files. This bug would cause rarity changes to inadvertently carry over between save files. This bug also potentially caused some uncommon and rare rooms to appear less frequently than they should have for some players.
LATE GAME SPOILER
- Fixed softlock that occurred while accessing the blueprint menu or systems menu while SPOILER traveling by boat
- Fixed hardlock that occurred while attempting to unlock a locked door found outside of the house with a basement key.
- Fixed bug that would rarely cause only one item to appear in the TOOLSHED.
- In a special room added by the drafting studio, C_s__o , the use of Coin Purse had been prevented. However, due to a bug, one machine was still able to exploit the use of this item. We are sorry to report this has been fixed and Coin Purse no longer works while playing games in this room.
Once again we'd like to extend our sincere gratitude for the wealth of feedback we've received from the community. We cannot thank you enough for shining light on Blue Prince and supporting us in the critical launch window of our game.
We hope you have a great weekend in Mt.Holly.
Hello drafters,
The first Blue Prince patch has now been submitted across Steam, Xbox and Playstation platforms that fixes some issues that were reported by the community. Be forewarned, this changelog does contain minor spoilers:
- Fixed the bug occasionally causing new game files to overwrite previous save files after a force quit.
- Temporarily disabled options to Backup, Restore, or Duplicate Save Files while we investigate reported issues.
- Fixed system issue causing some players to be unable to unlock a safe in SPOILER: SHELTER
- Fixed bug causing BATTERY PACK to spawn less frequently than intended.
- Tweaked odds of certain rare OUTER ROOMS being drawn while drafting.
Each platform has varying timescales for patches. We expect players on Steam and Playstation to have access to this patch later today with Xbox/Game Pass players gaining access by, at latest, tomorrow afternoon.
We want to thank you all for continuing to report any issues you experience in the game, helping us to investigate and implement fixes.
