Story
In the year 2036, a strange phenomenon for which scientists can find no explanation has occurred in the skies around the world. The Supernatural Science Research Organization (SRO) has sent agents out to various regions to investigate this phenomenon. It is soon discovered that these strange occurrences are connected to an archaic mystery - an as-of-yet unknown history of two worlds, about to come to light...
Gameplay
Bright Memory: Infinite combines the FPS and action genres to deliver a high-octane experience. Mix and match available skills and abilities to unleash magnificient combos on your enemies. Your trusted sword allows you to slash through crowds of enemies and even repel their gunfire. The guns you come across in-game can be customized with a variety of ammunitions. Choose between incendiary bombs, sticky grenades, homing missiles, and more to suit your situation.
Development
Created by FYQD-Studio, Bright Memory: Infinite is the sequel to the popular Bright Memory. However, the sequel features an all-new world, along with newly created improved battle system and level design.
Developer Comment
For Bright Memory: Infinite, I wanted to focus on adding content to give players a more satisfying experience. As a result, development took three times as long as Bright Memory. This process allowed me to learn how to create a strong game while dealing with time and financial constraints. I spent a lot of time thinking of ways to maximize whatever technology and resources available to me in order to deliver an unforgettable experience through the game. As such, Bright Memory: Infinite represents the culmination of FYQD Studio's growth. Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to all my global partners and those who have provided technical support to me.

- Fixed a bug where if the game was closed with perspective-assist and toon rendering turned on, the toon-rendered model would appear lighter in color upon next startup.
- Fixed an issue that caused the game to sometimes crash when the screen fades to black if the player launched the game in "DX12 Mode".
- Fixed an issue where motion blur was applied to the weapon UI when changing perspectives, making it hard to read.
- Adjusted collisions with area dividers, fixing an issue where certain actions would cause players to go out of bounds.

Hello everyone! We've released a new update just in time for the release of the NVIDIA RTX4080.
The input lag after turning on DLSS3 has been reduced from 38ms to 27ms.

We are planning on adding a perspective-assist function and new DLC skins to the game, so please look forward to them.
Perspective-assist function:
Will only be usable when firing while moving. The camera will be in first-person when aiming, using skills, using the Light Blade, defending, sliding, and grappling.

Fixes & Adjustments
- Updating NVIDIA Reflex to version 1.6 will further reduce input lag for mouse and keyboard.
- Increased player movement and dash speed by 20%.
- Adjusted size of enemy defensive armor gauge for visual improvements.
- Changed effect when enemy defensive armor gauge when it reaches 0 for visual improvements.
- Added sound effect when enemy defensive armor gauge reaches 0.
- Adjusted the sizes of boss HP and defensive armor gauges.
- Fixed issue in Closed Call where the wild boar in the car chase sequence does not move.
- Fixed issue where using shrapnel bomb on the wild boar will cause game to freeze.
- Fixed issue where interrupting Tian Yu Emperor's attacks with the Light Blade will cause Tian Yu Emperor to stop attacking player for a short period of time.
- Fixed issue where the effects and damage area of Ground Slash do not match up.
- Fixed issue where defending with the sniper rifle equipped will cause the scope to be displayed in the standard skin.

- Fixed issue where defending immediately after a counter makes player invincible.
- Fixed issue where the "Hell" difficulty level achievements unlock instead of the "Revenge" difficulty achievements.
※If player has already beaten the game in "Revenge" difficulty, achievements will be automatically unlocked the next time the game is started. - Fixed issue where upgrading tracker shells for the assault rifle to level 3 will lead to reduced damage.
- Fixed issue where the tank appears again when player moves to restart point inside the small house in "Surrounded".
- Reduced VRAM usage by reducing the shrapnel produced when the Mountain Beast is beaten.

*In order to fix issue of lowering framerate when using DX12 - Increased damage for Blade Slash Whirlwind Level 1 and Level 2.
- Fixed issue where turning the steering wheel can cause assault vehicle to skid and crash into the wall when gtravelling down the slope.
- Changed the maximum steering wheel turning angle from 55 to 45 degrees.
- Optimized the timing at which enemy vehicles appear in the car chase sequence to prevent the enemy vehicles left behind from attacking player from behind.
- Fixed issue where changing to the assault rifle after restarting will cause the assault rifle ammo to be incorrectly displayed.

- Adjusted cartridge capacity for all firearm weapons - Assault rifle now holds 120 rounds and other firearm weapons have 50-100 additional rounds.
