About the Game
Get famous or die trying! Content Warning is a co-op horror game where you film spooky stuff with your friends to try and go viral.
Squad up, customize your face with the ASCII face customiser, buy some gear and use the diving bell to go down to the Old World!
Down there you’ll encounter scary physics-animated monsters, cursed relics and other artefacts!
Film as many scary things as possible before you run out of oxygen, camera battery or friends…
If you survive, you need to get back in the diving bell to transport you and the remaining members of your team to the surface.
Upload your chaotic footage to SpöökTube, settle in for a watch party, and wait for the views to tick up!
Every run goes on for 3 days, the more scary stuff you film, the more you go viral. The ad revenue from your SpöökTube videos enables you to upgrade your gear to film better videos and survive more easily in the Old World.
If your team accumulates enough views in three days - you get to keep going with your SpöökTube Career and live a life of fame and fortune!
You can also sign up for sponsorship deals to earn MC to purchase island upgrades and hats!

Hello Spööktubers! Thank you for your patience as we're fixing bugs on all platforms.
Here's a new patch fixing some stuff!
For those of you wondering when crossplay between Switch 1 & 2 and other platforms will be back:
The first Switch patch ran into an issue during testing, so we’re currently waiting on feedback from Nintendo. We’re hoping the patch will be approved by next week, but it could take longer if any problems are found. The fixes from this patch will also be included.
Patch Notes:
Lobbies should no longer be stuck in offline mode after rehosting
The door in the house should no longer be open only for the host due to the aforementioned issue
Video extraction time has been greatly reduced in most use cases

Hello everyone! Sorry about the issues caused by yesterday's patch, we're looking into them all but here's a patch fixing the issue where you couldn't hear other players.

Fixed sounds being way louder than intended
Fixed the pitch of sounds being off
All spinning machinery should now hurt the player in Factory
Jello now covers the screen of players who get caught
Spööktube Cloutlourd Achievement now works
Not a Bot! Can Achievement now works
Closing a lobby can no longer grant the Any% Achievement
Using a defibrillator no longer gives everyone the “Certified Medic” achievement
Rebinding keys should now work properly, regardless of keyboard layout
UI improvements
Fixed bots teleporting in front of players

Fixed some missing colliders on the railings in the factory
The UI should adjust correctly now when changing resolution
The camera should no longer get stuck in place after being picked up when it was still recording
More SFX sounds should now be properly adjusted

This will be the last patch for a while since ThePetHen, Skog, Zorro, Wilnyl and Philip have prior commitments to another project that they have been working on with another team since 2021. In the meantime, we are looking into getting the game onto other platforms! We hope to have more news about that and the future of Content Warning before the end of the year.

Please send us your logs if video extraction fails with the new update! This will help us figure out why it is happening so we can fix it!
The player log contains information on your latest game session which can help us track down bugs. Recreate the bug you’re experiencing in the game before getting the log here:
- Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard
- Type appdata into the prompt that appears
- Then navigate to LocalLow\Landfall Games\Content Warning> locate the file called “Player” and send it to [email protected]
We know a lot of you are wondering about content updates, we're currently focusing on fixes and quality-of-life features. As we've spoken about in the past we don't do estimates for updates as it leads to crunch for the team but we will let you know when and if a new update is on the way! :)

Hello everyone! The game’s been out for over a week, time really flies! Here’s another bug patch for you all.

🐛💥🦶 Audio bugs stomped!!!! We’ve fixed a bunch of audio bugs related to sound disappearing
💥Fixed issue where player voices could sometimes be muted

💥Fixed issue where monsters somehow spawned in the house (if you’re playing with someone using
mods to spawn them - this may still happen)
💥Fixed issue when joining invites when already in-game

Hello everyone! New update to solve some of the bugs is up, thank you for your patience!
We're still working on the big stuff like audio issues, server issues, camera issues and crashes and we also have some new content planned for the future!

🛠️You can now see other players' head movements when they look up and down
🛠️You can now find equipment down in the old world.
🛠️Added steam-rich presence so your friends can see how viral you are
🛠️You can now also invite friends from the Steam friends list
🛠️Fixed a bug where the wrong amount of days left would show after sleeping
🛠️Fixed a bug where the view quota would load incorrectly when playing from a save
Make sure to update to the new version by restarting steam and verifying the integrity of the game-files.
