Start small, grow BIG!
Begin your story in a small, dirty hideout and make your way up to controlling the territory, hiring minions, opening labs and training the staff. Become a street business mastermind and climb to the very top.
But be careful! Nothing is easy in the world of crime...
Smuggle your goods
Retrieve smuggled merchandise from outside cartels, avoid the police, and organise hideouts. Sell small amounts to singular clients, or do big deals with gangs.
Remember, you have to be smart, and you have to be sneaky. Enemies lurk on every corner, and the DEA never sleeps.
Scared yet? Don't be. The brave ones rule the world.
Set up drug labs
When the time comes, set up your own production labs. Convert your empty hideouts into laboratories to make meth, ecstasy, heroin, and more. Train your dealers into lab assistants and gain complete independence in your operation.
Remember, it does cost a lot of money, so better prepare!
Climb to the top
Your goal? Power, money, and respect. Be careful with your actions. Don't screw with your clients... too much. Cooperate with the right people, don't get caught, and you might just live long enough to spend your fortune!
Who needs money if you can't spend it, right? Use your profits to either grow your gang, buy new equipment, hire some muscle, train them, or get yourself a mansion to show off your wealth.
Cash, drugs, and rock'n'roll... or something like that.

Official update history
Dealers, the Controller Update Beta is now available on a separate Steam branch!
WHY NEW BRANCH: the controller update beta introduces a newer engine version, which causes old saves to become incompatible. That means you’ll have to start a new game, and your already existing saves will be unavailable.
We don’t want to impose the update, so if you wish to use it, switch the game branch on Steam. You will still be able to switch back to the older version and continue playing your existing game saves.
How to switch to the Update branch:
Find DDS in your Steam Library;
Right-click on the game’s title and select Properties, or find the Settings icon and click Properties;
Open the Betas tab;
In the Beta Participation dropdown menu, select controller_beta;
Close the menu and update the game.
Before switching to the controller update beta branch, please back up your save files:
Open AppData\\Local\\DrugDealerSimulator on your PC.
Copy the entire Saved folder to a safe location.

We have just deployed an update to the launch option for fixing the startup crash affecting users with Intel 11th, 12th, and 13th+ Gen CPUs. It is available as a Launch option called Use this option if your game crashes at launch.
The 5-year celebration is coming to an end. Huge thanks to everyone who played DDS for its 5th anniversary! Also, a big shout-out to all the console players - DDS1 was warmly welcomed by you on Xbox, and we are grateful. Updates are coming, and the game itself is coming also to PS5.

We had some reports by you that after the latest visual update, there was a problem with collisions on some of the bushes. We took care of that, so enjoy your bushwhacking.
Patch note
- Fixed an issue where dark bushes unintentionally had collision enabled after the visual update.
P.S. You may notice that despite the limited amount of changes, the update seems sizeable. It's due to the way the tech we used to create the game handles data.
We have a small hotfix for Drug Dealer Simulator that should make your experience smoother after the visual update. Enjoy!

We have a pleasure to present the Visual Update for the original Drug Dealer Simulator, created for us by external artists while Byterunners have been busy with DDS2. It is our gift to the fans. Perhaps it will let you relive the emotions of DDS1 in a slightly different way.
The original visuals are still available if you prefer them!
In order to install the OG version, open your DDS page in the Steam app, choose Properties, then Betas, and from the dropdown menu choose Original Visuals.
Visual Update Notes
- Not visual but still: Cloud Save added
- Added 1 GB of new textures
- Toned the colors of terrain for a more natural look
- Replaced ca. 90% of foliage
- Increased the density of foliage in selected areas
- Improved selected materials
- Prevented the detected rare glitches where some textures rendered black
- Improved postprocesses: flair, noise, film grain/noise, white balance, saturation
- Tweak night lighting to light up overly dark areas for a better gaming experience
- Improved the effects of water and smoke
- Fixed the positioning of certain objects that were hovering above the ground
