Official update history
A small error in the tutorial made completing it impossible.
Wheelbarrow and pathmaker work properly now.
Parquet floors don't look like spread cardboard sheets anymore.
This time, we focused entirely on improving our game, especially on the aspects you reported as problematic.
The game was a proverbial step away from disaster due to constantly added content and a lack of optimization.
We had to significantly slim it down and optimize it.
The changes are significant, which is why we are resetting the version numbering and changing the middle digit.
If you encounter any issues launching the game, please reinstall it.
Those of you playing Farmer's Life on powerful PCs probably won't even notice the changes.
However, players for whom working on Kasimir's farm has been an absolute torment should be pleased.
If you had to lower the graphics quality to play comfortably, you can now try turning the settings up.

Improved performance
- The update itself is large, but it significantly reduces the game's size on the disk.
- The game now consumes nearly 1.5GB less RAM.
- Proper division of assets in the game files has moved us away from the aforementioned disaster and will make it easier to add new content.
- Thanks to smart texture management, our best models look even better, but only when it is necessary.
- We analyzed the reasons why the game is so "heavy" and implemented dozens of improvements without any loss in visual quality.
- We have slightly thinned out the vegetation in Zalesie, especially in places that the player usually only views from a distance anyway.
- We optimized some of the models and improved their settings so they render more efficiently.
- We reduced the size of large textures that can never be fully seen in all their glory anyway.
- The shovel and the pathmaker no longer cause as much stuttering as before.
- The eyeballs of storks flying a kilometer away from Kasimir are no longer being rendered...
Better physics
- All vehicles now use a new coupling system. Instead of flying off into the sky when they get jammed, the connection will safely break before a disaster occurs.
- These new couplings are stable, do not jitter, and the angle limitation between connected machines works exactly as it should.
- Vehicles no longer hitch together abruptly, but rather smoothly and gradually to minimize the chance of the "Kraken effect".
- The small handcart finally behaves stably. This includes when it is attached to the bicycle!
- We have adjusted the suspension of all machines, as well as their weights and centers of gravity, so they behave more predictably.
- Machines with moving chassis parts, such as wagons, trailers, or the manure spreader, now have truly articulated components. Watch out when reversing!
Farm animals
- Stall doors now open inward, and animals will never get caught on them.
- All sheds and buildings have improved animals' navigation data, making them rarely get stuck.
- If any of the animals "vanish into thin air," they will return to the farm area instead of somewhere far out in the woods.
- If an animal being led into a stall is unable to reach it for some reason, it will return to its default behavior after a while, allowing you to interact with it again.
- If the player has led an animal into a stall, the wife remembers this and will try to lead that same animal into the same stall, provided it is not occupied.
- Horses make sounds less frequently, and we have eliminated the terrible background noise from their audio files.
Fixes
- The quest related to the "Woodcutter's Trailer" can now be continued, and saving during the quest and continuing the next day will no longer block your progress.
- Completed tasks now unpin themselves automatically. We sincerely apologize for this glaring oversight.
- We discovered the mystery behind the flying off furniture that you painstakingly arranged in your properties. This will not happen again.
- Using the shortcut to drag only a single item no longer causes all items to be destroyed in certain cases (e.g., the chaff cutter).
- Mine detonations now knock down trees, in accordance with the twins' quest.
- The chainsaw no longer blocks jumping with a non-disappearing setting change option.
- The Farmer's Eye now detects mushrooms in the forest as well.
- Scythes now degrade even if the cut vegetation does not go straight into Kazimierz's bag.
- "Infinite firewood trees" have now appeared in other locations and disappear (this time for good) from a single axe blow.
- Certain agricultural machines could indeed be temporarily broken by driving in reverse. They are now reverse-proof.
- It is no longer possible to commit theft during the introduction, which effectively prevented it from being completed.
- Quests requiring the purchase of an animal now recognize if the player has already owned that animal for a long time.
- It is no longer possible to duplicate Kazimierz's clothes for free using any chest.
- Black onions are no longer black.
What next?
- Mod support.
- We are working on another DLC. It is too early to provide details, but it will introduce certain annual events that you should enjoy.

- A new invention has arrived in Zalesie: the Woodcutterโs Trailer. Go ask Ludvic at the sawmill about it.
- Kasimir has learned how to barrel ordinary wine and turn it into a premium vintage. Ask Helen for the details.
- Kasimir has figured out how to make neat firewood piles and put together large pallets of boards. Check your building menu.
- Kasimir has learned how to set up organized zones which โ just like wagons and trailers โ keep everything tidy on their own.
- Kasimir has (finally!) learned how to pour well water into empty bottles.
- Kasimir has learned how to pin quests. Theyโll stay right there in the top right corner almost all the time now.
- Weโve added a separate slider for music volume. Itโll change the gramophones' volume too.
- Henry isnโt just standing stubbornly in the middle of the road anymore. Now, heโs stubbornly patrolling the main crossroad, so youโd best watch out for him.
- The folk of Zalesie are following Sophiaโs lead and are making better use of whatever lamps and lights they have.
- That "best" treasure hunt quest of ours can now be cut short just by digging in the right spot at the end.
- Signboards now let you write across three lines.
- Cats and dogs won't be catching any more sicknesses caused by Kasimirโs livestock herds being too crowded.
- The game now gives a clearer word that the introduction can be continued. (You don't have to start from the very beginning every time.)
- You canโt go riding horses during the introduction anymore.
- Burek wonโt be pestering players with surveys in the main menu the moment theyโve just turned on the game for the first time.
- The help panels that pop up won't "force" you to read every single thing at once anymore. Theyโll only show the topic you actually need.
- The help menu has received a few new pages of information.
- Missing characters for Korean and Chinese languages have been filled in.
- You can now use a pitchfork to load rapeseed straight onto a wagon or trailer.
- When fixing up sandwiches and jam buns, Kasimir has actually started putting the jam in them.
The broken road to the State Farm was finally fixed. The tractor no longer submerges into it to a devastating effect.

Another batch of missing translations was added (for languages other than Polish and English)
The wheels of our new animal trailer are unstuck and spin the way they supposed to.
Zmiany
- Missing translations have been added.
- Overlapping UI elements (certainly not all of them) have been corrected.
- Wild grass flickering has been significantly reduced, especially on higher graphic quality settings.
- Settings affecting how much the game can strain the players' eyes have been adjusted.
- It is now much easier to identify items that the merchant you are currently speaking with wants to buy from you.
- A bug reducing performance on Ultra and Hyper settings has been eliminated.
- The old horse-drawn plow is now operated exactly like all other farming machinery.
- The game tutorial section has been expanded with several elements, and some topics are now better explained.
- It is now harder to get lost during the tutorial.

Changes\
- New crops have arrived in Zalesie: Hops and Grapes. Go ask Maria and Tekla for some seeds.
- Kasimir has learned how to brew beer (the dark kind too) and make wine (in three different sorts). You can buy the tools from Helen, and thereโs tips in the help menu if you need them.
- Stan from the State Farm is now selling trailers for hauling beasts. No more dragging the herd along on foot.
- Kasimir can change the rules of the game to "Own Rules" by visiting Father Mateusz and picking "Change your life."
- Kasimir figured out how to top up the big animal feeders using a pitchfork.
- We found out why the animals were getting stuck in their stalls and fixed it. They still tend to navigate poorly, but they won't be "unusable" no more.
- Field kitchens won't be resetting their fireplates after you load back into the game.
- Quests that got stuck (like setting up the orchard) will now unlock and count as finished, if youโve actually done the work.
- Holding down the Control key will now let you drag just one piece of an item at a time.
- The distillery won't ask how much mash you want to throw in no more, since you can only fit one lot anyway.
- You can now pick up jars from the carts, so you don't have to sell the whole cart just to clear it out.
- The inside of the tavern is now kept warm by the stove in the back room.
- Tekla still hits hard as ever, but itโll take fewer good strikes to bring her down now.
- The folk of Zalesie who got stuck on their way to the tavern will sort themselves out now. Just wait a few hours and theyโll be on their way.
The terrain of Zalesie (specifically its textures) was accidentally affected during the previous update.
We have restored it to its default state; however, those of you who noticed issues with your crops during gameplay will likely need to revert to a save file where the crops appear correctly.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion and for any time you lost because of this mistake.
