Wild West DLC releases.
With this update we’re testing out a new set of default inputs for Vive Wand controllers and are looking for feedback; specifically we’ve made the default Interact action bound to the center 45% of the trackpad (as opposed to the Northern quadrant it was previously). We’ve updated our Trackpad icons to help indicate this as well.
We’ve made this change with Movement controls in mind, overlapping “move forwards” and “start teleport” and “interact” actions was a huge oversight on our part and hope this solution works out well.
The previous defaults for Vive wands are included with the "Legacy" prefix, accessible through the SteamVR Input menu in the VR overlay.
Changes:
- Hip Holster is functional again
- Fixed some lighting and reflection issues in the Sandbox
- Fixed a texture wrapping issue on most metallic surfaces
- Results screen no longer shows the next rank once you reach Rank 34 (maximum rank)
- Visual Options menu UI should now update with your selected settings correctly
- Fixed visual issues on the Tin Can, Shot Timer and Prop Cannon in the Sandbox

Finally got a full fix for the black screen and welcome screen issues that have been hitting various users since the launch of the SWAT DLC. We apologise for all the inconvenience and want to thank all the members of the community in their help beta testing our solutions.
We've also included a new setting, found in the options menu under "Gameplay on Page 2":
Holster Depth Offset
This setting modifies how far away all the holster points sit from your body.
Hopefully that's all the major issues wrapped up for now so you all can return to enjoying the game :D

Just a quick announcement in response to an issue that's been popping up for a few users since the SWAT DLC Update was released.
If you've been unable to play the game due to an issue where you are presented with a black screen/are positioned far below the welcome screen please opt into our current Public Beta. We haven't been able to replicate the issue on our devices and are hoping to get more public feedback on potential fixes for the issue.
To opt into the public beta simply Right click on Gun Club VR in your library, go to properties > betas then select public_beta from the dropdown list.
If you try this could you please let us know the results by either posting a comment here, in our Steam Discussions Page or on our Bug Reporting Channel on our Community Discord server

Fixes:
- Grabbing the Model 1866 in two hands will no longer lock your hands to the gun
- The MBUS and MK18 iron sights no longer hide themselves when being attached/detached
- Stopped the PP2000’s lamp from attaching to weird places
- April Fool’s day secret’s magazine has a less awkward grip
- Fixed attachment point of MK23’s light
- Fixed issue stopping mag ejection during countdown
- Fixed invisible magazine on PP2000
- Fixed clipping between PP2000’s magwell and drum magazines
- Fixed index finger clipping through C96’s barrel
- Fixed not being able to grab grenades/knives from holsters
- Some performance improvements

- Some default attachments are now removable and appear as attachments for their weapons in the upgrades menu (VSS and PSG scope, MK18 & MPX iron sights, P30L Match Weight)
Fixes:
- Capacity Upgrades should no longer break the spawning of more ammo
- Shotgun Speedloader becoming separated from itself when operating quickly
- Fixed Auto-Attach only working for the first attachment
- Stopped muzzle breaks from appearing in upgrades when the weapon doesn't support them
- Fixed Slam Firing not working when operating too quickly
- Replaced some incorrect icons

- WMR Controllers should now have a set of Default Bindings through SteamVR Input
- Stopped the "Toggle Grips Require Release" option defaulting to ON (causes controllers that use Toggle Grips to not be able to release grips)
- Potenially fixed an issue causing some guns to require re-charging after firing a single shot, if issue continues to persist please do not hesitate to contact us

- Tactical Red Dot Sight - A 4x zoomed RDS with 3 additional rails for extra customisation (Some attachments not compatible).
- Angled Foregrip Another foregrip option with additional sleekness
- 3.25x Magnifier Scope The name says it all; except for its ability to flip out on a 90° angle
Other Additions and Bug Fixes:
- Added option to hide/show your body (holster objects stay visible)
- Added options to change how the HUD follows you.
- Added hidden fruit spawns to every level
- A wide range of optimisations across game modes and weapons
- S&W629 more accurately displays its current ammo to the HUD
- Aligned S&W629’s iron sights
- Changed the handle on the M1918 A2 to now provide an extra foregrip position
- Fixed the reciprocating charging handle on the M1918 A2 BAR (still not 100% accurate to real life operation but better)
- Togglable weapon elements now save what state they were last in (ie. MK18 Iron sights)
- Green glow shouldn’t appear over attachments when holding an item
- Fixed up the textures on the 22x Scope
- Many other minor fixes that we’ve lost track of

In this build:
- It is now possible to initiate an Action Range Teleport with the interact button instead of waiting for the timer.
- Vive Controllers have refined grab detection to improve weapon interactions
- Vive users now have a alternate fade for teleporting that doesn’t incorporate the SteamVR view
- Scoreboard updates properly in the Action Ranges
- Performance improvements in the Range

That being said we've been keeping an eye on any suggestions and problems posted so far. So in the meantime we've prepared a small point release (0.3.99980) to address some bugs and also add in some additional functionality.

In this build:
- Triggers now move along with the index finger
- We've fixed up the fire mode on the TMP and also the incorrect operation of the charging handle.
- Vive users should notice Action ranges no longer momentarily show the SteamVR Room after teleporting.
- It is now possible to operate the weapons magazine during countdown
- Firing targets in the range are now unable to shoot during their popup animation and their shots won’t leave floating decals when hitting dynamic objects
- A supersampling option has been added in the Lobby Options panel ( from 0.7 -> 2.0 )
- Fixed the ability of Grenades to explode Red Barrels
- Other various smaller bug fixes
