Official update history
As some of you may have heard, Unity announced a security vulnerability for some versions, including the one used to build Seer’s Gambit.
With this patch we’ve addressed the issue following the guidelines provided by Unity. Note that Valve has also deployed client side updates related to this issue.
While we were messing around with the code we took the time to fix a couple of bugs.
- Heal values for High Heal Kickers, High Heal Boots and High Heal Shoes have been fixed. A bug meant they were only applying a tenth of the healing buff intended.
- Heal values will now round correctly. You should experience a significant positive impact on healing power as an effect.
- The game has been optimized in various ways. This should improve frame rate, especially in fights with many enemies.

This is a small balance patch and a fix to a bug that had snuck during the last update.
- Fixed an issue where the New Game button wasn’t working properly. You can now clear your progress completely again if you want to. WARNING this will reset all the overworld meta-progression as well so use with caution.
- Reduced the number of Banshees that can spawn at the same time for multiple tilesets.
- Reduced the number of Snails that can spawn at the same time for multiple tilesets.
- Reduced the number of demos that can spawn at the same time for multiple tilesets.
We also want to give you a small update on the status of the second equipment slot. The main work on implementation is done now and it works well. The next step is to re-balance certain parts of the game to make sure the additional power doesn't make fights trivial.
We expect to have a build out on the beta branch early next week.

We noticed that a lot of you were endlessly restarting the run in order to get the character you wanted and that’s not a cool experience. So in today’s patch we’re adding a character selection screen to Endless Mode.

There are also some minor bug fixes, but our main focus right now is put into the upcoming additional item slot. More info on that soon!
Changelog
- A character selection screen has been added to Endless Mode.
- Banshees have been nerfed some in Endless mode. You should no longer be able to encounter more than 2 Banshees at a time.
- The English skill description for Banshees has been updated to better reflect reality.
The first patch notes of the New Year has a bunch of neat fixes for the live game and content for the upcoming Endless Mode on the beta branch.
Live change log
- Fixed an issue where buffs did not update correctly if the stats they were based on changed. Now all item buffs will correctly apply stats gains received after initially equipping the item granting the buff.
- Fixed an issue where bleed stats were not correctly applied to the character dealing the bleed damage.
- Added a cap to minions to prevent a number of issues caused by endless minion spawns.
- Updated the Simplified and Traditional Chinese translations for several achievements.
- Fixed an issue with the translation of credits for Simplified and Traditional Chinese. The font should now display properly.
- Fixed incorrect stats on the common Bleeding Dagger and buffed the bleed duration of the rare and epic version.
- When clicking old women they will now have their own unique sound and not the old man sound.
- Foxes now have a sound when clicked. What does the Fox say?
Endless Mode change log:
- Added 15 new end of day buffs.
- Rebalanced difficulty (this is an ongoing task so please keep feedback coming! :) )
- Fixed an issue with day buffs granting fire aura, where fire aura would not be properly applied.
- The day number now shows up in proper colour.
It's been really cool seeing how far people can get in Endless Mode and we appreciate all the feedback we've gotten so far. Rest assure that we're still balancing the mode with the goal to have a fun new experience live for everyone this month.

We have a new dual patch today updating both the live game and Endless mode on the beta branch.
Live changelog
- Fixed an issue where Gloria would often choose to heal herself instead of the most damaged unit even when she was at full health. She will now correctly prioritize damaged heroes.
- The localization of Simplified Chinese has been updated and improved.
- Fixed a graphical glitch where a blue line was showing at the top or bottom of certain areas.
- Fixed an issue where heroes would spawn on top of walls or darkness on the Altar of Swords in the Purple Dungeon.
Endless Mode changelog:
- You can now get details on the end-of-day buffs you’ve selected by navigating to the details button in the character sheet.
- Fixed an issue where world upgrade buffs would carry over to Endless Mode from the main game.
- Added Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean and Japanese localization for most of the new Endless Mode text. We are aware that a few are still missing and will address this in future updates.

This will likely be the last patch of the year as we’ll be traveling to visit family over Christmas & New Year.

This pre-weekend patch brings some fixes to Burnard and events:
- Fixed a bug where Burnard could become permanently invulnerable during boss fights.
- Fixed a bug where Burnard’s skill tree heal only worked when he died from his ultimate ability. It now correctly heals the team when he dies from enemies as well.
- Fixed a bug where events that deal damage to your team could crit.
In Endless Mode on the beta-branch we’ve fixed an issue where some end of day buffs didn’t work. We’re still tuning the difficulty and as a result of this fix, the mode may feel too easy after day 2.
In general we’re very interested in feedback on the difficulty of Endless Mode. If you play, please let us know your thoughts!

Today’s patch brings improvements for those who have struggled with stone and magic collection. It should make it easier to upgrade nodes, especially in the latter parts of the game.
- Fixed an issue where nodes buffs increasing stone and magic drops weren't working properly.
- Fixed an issue where some enemy characters lacked a proper idle animation.
- Adjust the room Shrine of the Thorned Vine so your heroes are not standing on top of walls.
In case you didn’t see, we've also just released a beta version of Endless Mode.
Once we’re happy with Endless Mode, we’ll be adding the second equipment slot. It will be fun to see what crazy builds come out of that! 🙂

Today's patch addresses a number of issues with the Simplified and Traditional Chinese localization. We're not done updating the translation, but this patch should address some of the bigger issues.
Early next week we hope to be able to share a preview of the Endless Mode. :)

Another small patch for you all.
- Fixed an issue where Burnard could become permanently invulnerable when using his ultimate.
- Corrected the description of Glorias Ultimate. It now correctly states that it’s based off her ultimate power.
- Updated one of the Forest songs so it sounds more foresty and also loops less often.
- Added some houses to the Wandering Maiden event when it happens in the city.

We have a couple of impactful bug-fixes for Burnard and Gravejester fans today.
- Fixed an issue where Burnard could sometimes die when casting his Immolation ultimate despite timing it to trigger his resurrection.
- Fixed an issue where the Gravejesters grave attacks scaled by much higher numbers than intended, resulting in one-shotting bosses. We will keep an eye on the Gravejesters performance to make sure they are still a viable hero after this fix.
- Fixed an issue where you could grab and sell the XP potion from recruit events.
We’re currently working on a new game mode. We will share more shortly, but the plan is to have it up on a beta-branch soon so you can test it out for yourself and provide us feedback.
We’re also working on implementing a second item slot. The hope is to have both features out in beta before Christmas, but we want to make sure they are ready so we appreciate your patience while we test and add polish. :)

Happy December! :)
We started out the new month with everyone in the household catching a cold. We're slowly recovering though and we've manged to put together a small patch with some bug-fixes for you.
- Charged Subject now has crit on all rarities
- Bleeding Dagger now scales properly on all rarities
- Fixed an issue where some players did not receive the achievement for tipping 10 cows, even though they had the subsequent ones.
- Fixed a graphical glitch where a door could get hidden when clicked.
Also added a new bopping second song to beach areas. Enjoy!
We're still chasing down a number of larger bugs and will continue to patch the game as we solve them. We're also working on something new and exciting for the game which we can hopefully share soon.

Today’s patch includes a couple of bug fixes that should make regen items much more impactful:
- Fixed an issue where Armor and Health regen would apply flat numbers instead of percentage-based values.
- Fixed an issue where you could get stuck with a level up button instead of a continue button if you exited the game to the main menu while having the level up button active.
- Minor graphical fix for one of the purple plain merchant chunks.
We’re working on a new feature and hope to be able to share it on a beta-branch with you all next week. Until then, have a fantastic weekend!
