About the Game
Rites of Wrath DLC
Our new DLC (which was crafted thanks to a lot of fan feedback) lets players experience the Forsaken Lands like never before. We added two new modes, free to all players. Now you can play Skydance’s Behemoth’s incredible moments in bite-sized fashion.
The Arena leaves Beta
Arena Mode is now a fully fledged feature called “The Arena”. Fight off hordes of enemies through three new maps during both day and night. Collect coins from your fallen enemies, then exchange them for powerful golden weapons to reach new heights of mastery. Manage your weapons carefully though, because in The Arena weapons break, sometimes at the most inopportune moments! Conquer The Arena once, and unlock an Endless version of it, where you can find out what kind of a warrior you really are!
The Behemoth Trials are coming for you
Enter The Behemoth Trials and find yourself on hallowed ground. In this sacred space you can perform a ritual that will allow you to face any of the Behemoths of the campaign immediately, with bespoke loadouts that will maximize your chances of success. Choose to fight Shacklehide and call it a day, or challenge Nightscraper, Dreddstagg then Shacklehide one after the other! The order and number of Behemoths you want to tackle are your choice.
Skydance’s BEHEMOTH is an original story set in the Forsaken Lands, a fallen kingdom haunted by tragedy. Play as an outland warrior, Wren the Hunter (the player), and embark on a perilous quest to end the curse that plagues yourself and your village. Your only hope is to slay the unslayable, the monstrous Behemoths.
A Dark Fantasy Adventure in VR
A bold new vision from the developers of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. Skydance brings its in your face - “Virtual Physicality” - to this fully immersive experience, allowing the player to
A Dangerous New World: Survive the four biomes of the Forsaken Lands. From snowy tundras to swampy marshlands, the harsh environments may seem uninhabitable, but they hide swarms of traitorous marauders and something much, much worse.
Brutal Violence Solves Everything: Use your superstrength in bone-crunching, flesh-cleaving ways to cut down, maim, sever, break and rip apart your enemies.
Behemoths Loom Large and Dangerous: To defeat these gargantuan threats you’ll not only need all your strength, you’ll also need every skill in your arsenal to battle them on the ground, in the air, and in the clouds.

Official update history
Our new DLC (which was crafted thanks to a lot of fan feedback) lets players experience the Forsaken Lands like never before. We added two new modes, free to all players. Now you can play Skydance’s Behemoth’s incredible moments in bite-sized fashion.
Patch Notes:
A New Mode is available: The Behemoth Trials
- Fight any of the Behemoths in any order - no unlocks or progression in the campaign required.
- New area: The Room of Skulls.
- - This room takes the place of a traditional UI. The entire room is diegetic and functions as the menu for The Behemoth Trials. This is immersion on a whole new level!
- - Grab the statues of the Behemoths you wish to fight. Then, put them on the ritual table in the order you wish to challenge them. Finally, place both of your hands on the impressions on the front of the table to be transported through The Hollow to face these titans of doom.
- Each Behemoth fight will equip your character with the appropriate tools to take them down. Make sure to check your weapon slots and familiarize yourself with your loadout
- The Behemoth Trials are hard! Each Behemoth fight assumes familiarity with your grappler, the grappler’s unlocks, advanced traversal techniques, and an understanding of each of your weapons. Attempt at your own risk!
Updated Mode: Arena Mode is now The Arena. It is being taken out of Beta as a fully fledged feature. It includes:
- Two new Arena maps, and a massively updated Beta map
- - All three maps have a daytime and nighttime version
- Weapons have durability and will break after use
- - Scavenge your fallen enemy’s weapons strategically to stay in the fight!
- Enemies drop coins, which can be exchanged for powerful Golden Weapons
- - There are 15 Golden Weapons, each with a special power!
- Wave based progression, with iron-man rules. Survive all the waves through all six maps without dying and you’ll conquer The Arena!
- Unlock Endless mode after beating The Arena the first time
- - Endless Mode will be accessible through a new portal that will appear in the first map of The Arena
- - Fight through Endless Mode to see how far you can go. With randomized maps, encounters and time of day, no two runs will ever be the same
- Like the Behemoth Trials, The Arena is hard! We recommend acquiring some basic combat skills through the campaign first

Your friends at Skydance Games
To Our Dear Wings of Vengeance,
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and we wanted to share our love and appreciation for our community with the second major patch for Skydance’s BEHEMOTH!
The team has been hard at work since the start of the year, and our big focus has been on taking the feedback we’ve heard from everyone here and turning that into meaningful improvements to the game. Our hope is that if you’ve said something about the game that irks you, you’ll see something in these patch notes that addresses it.
So what’s in this heart-candy-filled patch?
We’ve taken a fine-toothed comb across all of our environments, and a ton of pops, holes, and floating objects have been addressed across all platforms. We’ve also figured out what was causing our audio layers to drop out from time to time, so our soundscape should now be relentlessly immersive. Rats will no longer steal Coloss from Wren’s inventory nor the environment, keeping all bars intact. We’ve spent a good amount of time with hand grips across the game, so climbing, grabbing, and Behemoth-riding should see some significant improvements. All told, we’ve fixed over 700 issues, large (Behemoth-sized) and small (Wren-sized).
This is not our final word, nor our final patch! There are some longer-tail issues that will take more time to sort, and more quality of life improvements that we’d like to roll out as well. We’re also planning on fulfilling our promise to bring Arena Mode out of Beta – we’ll have more details about what we’re doing there in the coming months.
With that, we wish you a happy Valentine’s Day! We hope you can feel our love for this game, and for you, our community of titan-killers and Hollow-delvers!
-Your friends at Skydance Games

Combat Updates
Tuning changes:
- Player dodge is more forgiving with additional i-frames for a total 0.5 seconds invulnerability
- Enemy dodge/side-step has been disabled (for now…)
- Exposed headshots on standard enemies should now be 1-hit kills (minibosses can still take more than 1 strike to the head, depending on their remaining health)
- 2-handed weapons feel has been greatly improved
- Block and Parry - Weapon angle for successful parries and blocks has been increased (Forgiveness Angle is based on how “perpendicular” the players weapon is in relation to the incoming attack)
Combat Stamina Drain
- Tuned across all difficulty modes, using Kragjaeger and minimum stamina bar as baseline
- 5 swings with Kragjaeger red-lines you without sending you into winded
- 3 combo attack, followed by a throw will redline you without you going over
- Reduced throw stamina cost so 4 successive throws with Kragjaeger will wind you (increased from 2)
- Removed the stamina penalty for player attacks that are blocked by the enemy by hitting their shield, weapon or helmet
- Stamina Loss Multipliers are tuned by difficulty level
- Tenderfoot has 0.35x combat multiplier, 0.5x non-combat multiplier
- Standard has the baseline values
- Barbarian has 1.25x multiplier across combat and non-combat
- Stamina drain during climbing is unchanged
Freestyle Mode (BETA)
- Players can enable fractional Combat Stamina, allowing them to hack and slash until they can’t physically swing anymore
- This can be toggled on/off via Options Menu > Gameplay > Stamina Mode (BETA)
- Achievements / Trophies are disabled when Freestyle mode is enabled; we are still testing how this affects combat balance and progression
- Stamina drain during climbing is unchanged
Additional:
- Tenderfoot game difficulty has received additional adjustments to reduce damage from enemy attacks
- Parry tutorial Marauder’s health has been increased and attack damaged decreased, to give players more opportunities to master the art

- Feral archers attack damage has been reduced
Miniboss Tuning Updates
Sora Ortel
- Reducing homing distance while attacking
- Reduced overall damage
Sora Vrisak
- Should no longer spawn in the ceiling and fall to her death (even if it was occasionally funny)
Dagger attack damage has been reduced
Pale Archer
- The Pale Archer should no longer turn invisible
General Ludovic
- Shield bash attack will no longer one-shot players who are at full health. It’s still plenty deadly, however. Increased i-frames on your dodge should help with avoiding that!
King Ragnar
- Increased health
- Increased attack rate
Level Updates
- Shacklehide opening scene should no longer replay when the player revisits the arena after already defeating this Behemoth
- Players should no longer take massive damage when touching Shacklehide’s feet , but players should still stay alert!
- Zephyr's Pass - Spikes have been moved to the side of the room to help mitigate enemy self destruction on Spike Wall
- Duskhold - The Lever puzzle should no longer cause the door to not open
- The chest after the Pale Archer should be easier to open
- Throne Room - Replaced extra Health upgrade with the proper Stamina Upgrade
Miscellanea
- Trophy Room Collectibles - Seems like the Trapper cleaned up while you were away. All statues have been moved to their wall inventory slots for now. We’ll continue working on this area in future updates. For the time being, if you rearrange collectibles, they will go back to their inventory slots when you leave and return

KNOWN ISSUES STILL BEING HAMMERED IN OUR FORGE
- Official support for currently unsupported PC headsets on Steam will come in 2025
- Controller map image for these headsets will not be present in the game
- Controller mapping may be awkward
- Infrequent, random crashes in Nightscraper zone. We have updated our crash reporting to help us identify and resolve issues that have been reported.
- Some players may find hip slots too high. We’re working on this, but our solutions need more time for testing and verification so we don’t accidentally create new bugs.
- In rare instances, Behemoths may trap players causing a soft blocker. We are looking at how this is happening and to determine which solutions won’t hamper the current experience. If you encounter this bug, often it can be resolved by reloading to the latest checkpoint or an earlier save.
- Standard weapons (not Kragjaeger, Dodstreng, or Lognbrytermay) may fall into the geometry and be unrecoverable. This has significantly improved but there are still infrequent instances.
- Some languages are not ideally formatted for the best experience.
- Some enemies may still get stuck in level geometry.
- Some Coloss collection values may be incorrect and not properly registering. We were hoping to have a fix in time, but need longer to make certain we get it right. For now, please report any instances where your Coloss collection does not register.
- Camera judder when throwing daggers and breaking pots and killing enemies. This is still being investigated.
- Some jank can happen with items in hip slots. Issues reported have been variable, so we are looking into whether there is a root cause.
- Trophy Room Collectibles – We want to make it so you can rearrange your collectibles in any order, without the Trapper cleaning up after you. One of these days, he will keep his grubby hands off your stuff.
