About the Game
Survival Log fuses two distinct phases of survival: the desperate scramble to hoard before the outbreak and the relentless challenge of managing your stronghold after. Strategy, resource management, and endurance are the name of the game.
A single death gave you a glimpse of the future. The apocalypse is coming in just 10 hours. And this time, you're ready. With disaster still hours away, the clock is ticking. Scavenge for resources, fortify your stronghold, and chart your survival strategy... because when the dead rise in force, there's no room for mistakes.
The end is near. Stockpile everything you can.
Scour the city—supermarkets, hardware stores, farmers' markets. Leave no corner untouched. Before society collapses, grab everything you'll need to stay alive.
Every decision carries weight. Do you spend your precious time and money on food and water, or do you fortify your shelter and secure fuel for the long haul? Choose wisely. Your survival depends on it.
Keep a close eye on your supplies with a live inventory system. The Loot Spotter lets you see exactly what you've gathered, identify critical gaps, and plug every hole before the clock runs out.
Transform your home into an apocalypse-proof fortress.
Scavenge or purchase furniture, appliances, and construction materials. Design your safe house layout from scratch, then roll up your sleeves and install, upgrade, and customize every last detail with your own two hands.
As your survival demands grow, so does your safe house. Expand it floor by floor. Living quarters, storage rooms, power generation, and even farming areas... everything meticulously planned and in its place.
Every resource you invest before the apocalypse becomes the lifeline that keeps you alive after.
Manage your stronghold and become self-sufficient.
Grow your own crops and cook proper meals because surviving the apocalypse doesn't mean giving up the good life.
Power your base with diesel, manual generators, or solar. Every watt is a resource you can't waste.
Manage hunger, stamina, and morale. Survival isn't just about staying alive; it's about staying sane.
Confront disaster and face the unknown.
Rain, the freezing cold, and blackouts... Every disaster pushes your prep to the limit.
Hold the line against endless hordes of zombies. Fortify, set traps, and defend your last refuge.
Explore abandoned supermarkets, schools, and the city ruins. Scavenge for rare resources, but stay sharp. Not every threat shambles and groans.
Stand together and rewrite the ending.
Rescue stranded neighbors, trade with survivors via drone, and build a new community.
Choose your past—a worker, a student, or a warehouse clerk. Every identity changes the game.
Every failure becomes experience. Reborn with your memories, uncover the disaster's truth.

Official update history
Hello, survivors!
Thank you all for your continued feedback and suggestions. Today's update introduces a new daily challenge—sporadic zombie harassment—and focuses on optimizing crafting stations, inventory operations, and a batch of interface display experiences. Details are as follows:
Version: 1.0.15369
\[Survival & Interaction]
Trap Hunting Optimization: At the Warehouse Manager's Home, the Warehouse and Outdoor areas now have trap prey distribution that is closer to real ecology, making it easier to get results, and the appearance rate of rare prey has also been improved.
Heating Task Optimization: The heating equipment crafting task requirements for all three characters have been unified to "having a heating method"—having any electric heater, fireplace, or Air Conditioning installed at Home will complete the task.
Promise Task Fix: Fixed issues where ending promise task prompts were sometimes unclickable, couldn't be dismissed, or promise notifications wouldn't appear.
New Sporadic Zombies: After the disaster, as time passes, sporadic zombies may occasionally wander around and might randomly attack the Front Door.
Message Bubble Fix: Fixed an issue where some message bubbles would remain stuck on "Task in Progress" after making a choice.
Planning Card Fix: Fixed the issue where consumable planning cards were being processed multiple times, causing abnormal Morale increases.
Food Post Optimization: Added a time limit to the image upload feature for food posts, so they no longer stay permanently in the group chat.
Audio Adjustment: Removed the tinnitus sound effect from Night events in Endless Mode.
\[Controls & Interface]
Carry Weight Display Standardization: Unified the carry weight display logic across various interfaces including backpack and crafting table, fixing display errors caused by acquired abilities in some interfaces (actual carrying capacity remains unchanged). Also fixed the issue where items couldn't be transferred with one click even when the backpack wasn't full in certain situations.
New Drop Shortcut: In the backpack, hover your mouse over an item and press Q to drop that item directly to the ground. This key binding can be modified in settings.
New Crafting Preview: When materials on the crafting table are sufficient for a recipe, the item to be crafted will be displayed in advance.
Continuous Crafting Optimization: After collecting finished products from the crafting table, the interface no longer jumps back to the inventory page, making continuous crafting smoother.
Zombie Horde Notification Fix: Status notifications when zombie hordes retreat no longer display wave numbers that could cause confusion.
Interface Smoothness Optimization: \[Interface Lag Optimization] is now enabled by default and no longer requires manual configuration.
Display Mode Optimization: Fullscreen mode has been adjusted to borderless fullscreen for smoother and more stable window switching.
\[Rebirth & Settlement]
Ability Point Allocation Fix: Fixed the issue where previously learned abilities couldn't be upgraded in certain situations when entering the ability point allocation page after ending rebirth.
Rebirth Note Protection: Fixed the issue where rebirth notes could disappear when the starting backpack couldn't accommodate them. Notes that don't fit will now drop at your feet.
\[Scenes & Performance]
Story Illustration Update: Redrawn and added numerous event illustrations for the warehouse manager storyline.
Icon Optimization: Redesigned the Molotov cocktail icon to make it easier to distinguish from alcohol items.
Environmental Audio Optimization: Fixed the issue where environmental audio was too loud in the Warehouse Manager's Home.
Stability Enhancement: Enhanced the stability of the Cookbook and certain interfaces during opening and closing processes, reducing rare crashes.
\[Story & Text]
Furniture Rename: \[Heating Equipment] has been renamed to \[Electric Heater] to match its actual appearance and avoid confusion.
Unified ending names: The \[Lying Flat] endings for all three characters have been renamed to \[Survival: Last One Standing].
Description Correction: Fixed the item description for \ to match its actual effects.

Added Workbench one-click organization: A "One-Click Organize" button has been added to the inventory area of the crafting interface. Item Acquisition Notification Optimization: Item acquisition notifications have been changed to lightweight notification bars at the top of the screen. They no longer block the view or interrupt ongoing operations and automatically disappear after being displayed.

Hello, survivors!
Thank you for your continued feedback and suggestions.
Today's update adds the fuel-burning "Heater" and Electric Oven crafting recipe, allows the Ration Press to reprocess fragments back into blocks, and fixes a batch of preservation and visual display issues. Details are as follows:
Version: v1.0.14911
\[New Content & Features]
New Furniture "Heater": After receiving a cold wave warning, a new event will remind you to set up the stove before the temperature drops. It can be crafted using Sheet Metal and Wire.
New "Electric Oven" Crafting Recipe: A new planning card "Slow Roast and Fine Bake" has been added to the daily planning. After purchasing it, you can unlock the Electric Oven crafting recipe (Sheet Metal, Electronic Components, and tempered glass). Previously, Electric Ovens could only be bought from pre-disaster renovation companies, but now you can craft them yourself post-disaster.
Ration Press Upgrade: Ration fragments produced can now be poured back into the press slot to be compressed into whole blocks, and the fragments' Satiety value is not reduced—collecting four fragments can be pressed back into one complete ration block.
\[Survival & Interaction]
Freshness Display Optimization: Fixed an issue where food on tables, floors, and in backpacks would all be labeled as \ after obtaining the \[Proper Storage] planning card.
Fridge Reminder Fix: Fixed an issue where the \[Requires Fridge] reminder would fail and not display for any items.
Refrigerator Freshness Fix: Fixed an issue where food inside the refrigerator would lose its enhanced freshness effects and revert to base values after power outages, power restoration, or manual on/off operations. Freshness enhancement abilities now remain consistently active.
Expiration Date Display Fix: Fixed an issue where some food items scavenged outside showed higher expiration days on the backpack slot than the actual value. Now it matches the days shown in the item details.
Press Machine Material Source Fix: The material source range for the ration press machine has been corrected to include only the personal backpack and refrigerator—manufacturing materials stored in the tool cabinet should not appear in the press machine's material selection tab.
Press Machine Operation Fix: Fixed an issue where the start button would remain lit but unresponsive when a power outage occurred after material output was completed.
\[Scenes & Interface]
Visual Anomaly Fix: Fixed an issue experienced by some players where red lines/crosshairs would occasionally appear on screen, which was more noticeable during daytime and snowy weather.
Power Outage Display Optimization: During whole-house power outages, decorative lights now turn off along with other electrical items and automatically turn back on when power is restored.
Pre-Disaster Store Optimization: Fine-tuned the positions of several customers in the pre-disaster supermarket to make their positioning look more natural when shopping.
Codex Optimization: Cleaned up duplicate and unobtainable entries in the furniture codex, and correspondingly reduced the completion requirements for the "Shelter" and "Home Sweet Home" collection milestones; existing save files will see their codex completion rates increase accordingly.
Thank you for your support and feedback. We will continue to refine the game based on everyone's suggestions.
If you encounter other bugs and issues, or if existing fixes are not working, please feel free to submit your problems to our feedback form, and we will address them as soon as possible!

Hello, survivors!
We've kept up a steady stream of updates since the Demo launched. Here's a consolidated rundown of everything we've shipped from 7/14 onward — covering cooking upgrades, inventory & storage interactions, food freshness, the results screen, and a range of stability and save-data safeguards. Details below:
7/14 Update: Cooking Improvements, Item Interaction Fixes & Stability Upgrades
\[Cooking Improvements]
Portion system: High-satiety dishes now support "multiple servings per plate" — large dishes can be eaten across several sittings, each restoring the corresponding portion, so nothing goes to waste from overfilling. The item badge shows the number of servings remaining.
Dish value tuning: We've boosted the values of several recipes. Cooking output now provides no less nutrition than the sum of its ingredients, with bonus value for Fine/Perfect quality. Cooking is now always worth it.
Lost output fix: Fixed an issue where dishes could overlap and disappear when the inventory was full during cooking. Any output that no longer fits will now drop to the ground in a cardboard box.
\[Item & Interaction Fixes]
Spoiled food fix: Fixed an issue where food left on the ground, once spoiled, failed to convert into fertilizer properly and could not be picked up.
Coffee fix: Fixed the "Coffee" item's mismatched icon and effects — drinking it now restores Energy and gives a small Mood boost.
\[Performance & Stability]
Post-disaster transition fix: Fixed an issue that could occasionally make the game unplayable when entering the post-disaster phase after the pre-disaster shopping period ended.
Occasional stutter fix: Fixed occasional stutters on the pause, announcement, main menu, and settings screens (especially noticeable during unstable network conditions).
UI recovery fix: Fixed an issue where the game could not recover properly after an occasional UI-core crash.
UI error fix: Fixed occasional errors when refreshing the inventory, crafting bench, and similar screens.
7/16 Update: Inventory Item Swapping & Stability Improvements
\[Controls & UI (Highlight)]
Item swapping: You can now drag one item directly onto another to swap them — no need to free up an empty slot first. Same-size items will merge when possible, and swap otherwise.
Cross-inventory swapping: In dual-inventory views (lockers, cardboard boxes, baskets, etc.), you can now drag items directly between the two inventories to swap them.
Size-mismatch prompt: When items of different sizes can't be swapped, a clear floating message now explains why, instead of silently snapping back.
\[Performance & Stability]
Stability improvements: Polished the stability of several interaction flows — including inventory, cooking, and settlement — to reduce occasional glitches and stutters.
7/17 Update: Food Freshness Fixes, Item Loss Prevention & Stability Improvements
\[Food & Shelf Life (Highlight)]
Fridge preservation fix: Fixed an issue where the fridge's preservation effect didn't apply correctly to supplies obtained from events and stored directly inside.
Extra shelf-life loss fix: Fixed an issue where items lost several extra hours of shelf life after the transition into the outbreak.
Shelf-life accuracy fix: Fixed inaccuracies in shelf-life calculation during power fluctuations, which accumulated over long play sessions and caused food to spoil earlier than it should.
Bento disappearance fix: Fixed an issue where the "Home-Style Bento" vanished into thin air once its shelf life expired — it now properly turns into spoiled remains.
\[Items & Furniture]
Item protection when dismantling: Items stored inside furniture will now drop to the ground when that furniture is dismantled, instead of disappearing. Feel free to tear things down and redesign your safehouse.
Reinforcement display fix: Fixed an issue where a door's maximum durability didn't refresh immediately after reinforcement.
\[Performance & Stability]
Crafting bench crash fix: Fixed a possible crash after collecting items from the crafting bench.
Memory optimization: Improved memory management when switching maps, easing the high memory usage — and occasional crashes — that could build up during long play sessions.
Exploration error fix: Fixed an error that could occur when closing the selection menu on exploration maps.
7/18 Update: Results-Screen Fixes, Stability & Data-Safety Hardening
\[Results Screen Fixes (Highlight)]
Results-screen time freeze: Fixed an issue where in-game time kept passing while you lingered on the results screen. No matter how long you stay — or whether you've opened "View Stats" — the world now stays fully paused.
Results screen interruption: Fixed an issue where a zombie breaking in and killing your character could knock you out of the results screen. You can now read through your run summary in peace.
\[Items & Storage]
Item retrieval fix: Fixed an issue where a trap consuming bait could occasionally leave a few items in storage slots stuck and impossible to take out.
\[Stability & Data Safety]
Hardened quit flow: Hardened data saving and process shutdown when quitting the game, fixing rare crashes at the moment of exit and cases where a save failed to write to disk.
Sturdier UI loading: Improved the robustness of UI loading, fixing occasional failures to open a screen or crashes on certain device environments (e.g. when the disk is busy or security software has locked a file), and added an auto-recovery mechanism for loading errors.
Loading optimization: Optimized loading in some scenes, so switching between game phases is now smoother.
7/20 Update: Quality-of-Life Additions, Clearer UI & Save-Data Safeguards
\[New Convenience Features]
Quick repeat-use: Hold Ctrl and click an item in your inventory to add it straight to the action queue, skipping the detail window. Your inventory stays open, so you can click and use it repeatedly.
Attribute change preview: Furniture action buttons now show an attribute preview in their tooltip, so you can see which stats an action will drain or restore before committing.
\[Save Data Safeguards (Highlight)]
Save protection: Fixed an issue where saves could be overwritten by corrupt data in certain cases, causing loss of items or progress. We've also added integrity checks when writing saves to further reduce the risk.
Loading freeze fix: Fixed an issue where some players got stuck on the loading screen when starting a new game.
\[UI & Controls]
Text clarity: Added soft outlines to floating stat text and the labels above characters and furniture, so they stay readable against bright backgrounds.
Furniture outlines: Obscured parts of a furniture highlight now show as a darker see-through outline, and we've restored the missing highlight on solar panels.
Planning mode: Polished the visuals, and fixed the toggle button jumping out of position.
Item detail window: Cleaned up the layout, with clearer, more prominent purchase prices.
\
UI auto-recovery: Improved the UI's ability to recover from errors; if auto-recovery fails, you'll now get a clear restart prompt instead of an unresponsive screen.
Flow robustness: Hardened the quit-game and menu open/close flows, fixing several rare errors.
Black screen fix: Fixed a rare black screen when returning home from an exploration site.
We'll keep improving based on your valuable feedback. If you run into any other bugs or issues, or if a fix listed here isn't working for you, please submit your report through our feedback form and we'll get on it right away:

Hello, survivors!
Thank you for all the enthusiastic feedback since the Demo went live! We've gone through the issues you've reported, and today's update focuses on hardening save file safety, fixing a batch of bugs, and polishing the overall experience. Details below:
7/10 Update
\[Save File Protection (Key Focus)]
Legacy save warning: Added an interception warning for cross-version legacy saves, preventing the data anomalies that could occur when loading an old save directly into the new build.
Save corruption fix: Fixed a rare issue where force-quitting the game during the loading screen on your way home from exploration could corrupt your save. You can now close the game with peace of mind.
\[Survival & Exploration Fixes]
Door durability: Fixed an issue where your home's door durability could drop abnormally after returning from exploration.
Bath time, back in place: Fixed a visual bug where characters taking a bath would end up "lying outside the bathroom."
\[Controls & UI]
Ultrawide support: Fixed the system buttons on the right being covered by the floor panel on 21:9 / 32:9 ultrawide displays.
Hotkey fix: Fixed the N hotkey not responding in Planning Mode.
Smarter suggestions: Improved the smart recommendation logic for eating. When your Satiety is already high, the game will no longer keep nagging you to grab another bite.
\[Immersion & Text]
Cooking visuals: Improved the cooking presentation — there's now an actual pot on the stove when you cook.
Description fixes: Fixed some unclear plan descriptions in both the Chinese and English versions.
7/11 Update
\[New Content]
New furniture: Small Storage Rack and Large Storage Rack are now available for purchase.
Security window interaction: Fixed an issue where security windows could no longer be interacted with or repaired after installation. Broken windows can now be patched up properly.
Quest blockers: Fixed issues where installing a security window or security door made main-story or quest points impossible to interact with (including being unable to leave the house after installing a security door).
Black-screen freeze fix: Fixed an issue where rushing into the supermarket in the final stretch of the disaster countdown could leave you stuck on a black screen on the way home.
Faster rush: The supermarket rush now takes only half an hour of in-game time. If less than half an hour remains, you can no longer rush in — with a clear message explaining why. Feel free to make that last run now.
Confirmation added: Clicking "Confirm" on the results screen now asks for a second confirmation, so you won't accidentally end your run anymore.
Loop point allocation: Fixed an issue where pressing ESC on the loop upgrade screen would immediately start a new run — ESC now opens the pause menu instead.
Fertilizer prompt: Insufficient fertilizer is now highlighted in red with a "Not enough fertilizer" message, instead of a greyed-out button with no explanation.
Cooking value fix: Fixed an issue where some dishes, when cooking failed, produced abnormally low stats — even worse than Dark Cuisine.
7/13 Update
\[Critical Fix]
Regional compatibility: Fixed a serious issue where all in-game items were invisible on systems using certain non-Chinese regional formats (e.g. Czech, French). Affected players overseas can play normally after updating.
\[Survival & Cooking]
Seasoning fix: Fixed an issue where seasonings could not be used properly when cooking.
Crisis defense fix: Fixed an issue where doors and windows no longer took damage from zombie attacks after saving/loading during a zombie crisis.
\[Treatment Improvements]
Bleeding is now treatable: First-Aid Bandages and Military Med Kits can now remove the \[Wound Bleeding] and \[Shock Bleeding] statuses — no more waiting it out. Item descriptions have been updated accordingly.
\[Immersion & Text]
Results screen text fix: Corrected the title and description text on the run results screen so they match the actual story progression.
Thank you all for playing the demo and sharing your feedback — we'll keep improving the game based on it. If you run into any other bugs, or find that a fix isn't working for you, please submit it through our feedback form and we'll get on it right away: https://forms.gle/JYWgDhcwjYhQh8gf7

The pause menu is now accessible during the Prologue phase.
At this stage, identifying and resolving underlying system risks remains our highest priority.
Because the Demo involves complex foundational structures and online stability considerations, it is not well-suited for large-scale structural changes or major new content additions in the short term. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
All of the new experience ideas and hardcore suggestions shared across the community have been carefully documented and incorporated into our development planning. Once the overall framework becomes more stable, we will share a clearer update roadmap and return with a more polished and complete version of the game.
Thank you for your patience and continued support!

Here is a message from the Developers:
We carefully read, document, and evaluate every long-form suggestion shared in the community and feedback groups. As a small team of three, some complex issues—especially those involving core underlying systems—require additional time for proper design, iteration, and testing.
While we can’t address every problem immediately, we are committed to improving the game step by step according to our roadmap.
Thank you again for your patience, understanding, and continued support of Survival Log!
