Get ready to cook up a storm in "The Chef's Shift" - a fast-paced typing game set in a bustling restaurant! With your keyboard as your weapon, you'll need to cook and serve delicious dishes to hungry customers before they lose their patience. Major Bugs
- When cancelling some Minigame, the game stucks, and cannot type anything. It seems the animation bugged, so it crashes the whole game.
- VIP customer resets all other orders, it should not happen.
- The level won't finished in level 6-4 and 6-8, it's because the rat spawns really fast, we have limited so that the rat won't spawn if there's no more customer.
- The Achievement bugged, it has been fixed.
- The rat isn't spawned in endless mode, it has been fixed.
- The word generation in case of case insensitive is wrong, before, it could produce the word like "be" and "BEFORE" in the same time, and it makes impossible to write "BEFORE", it has been fixed now.
Minor Bugs
- Fix some word in upgrade that is out of bound, and change it so it's above the price label.
- Fix the statistic display in endless mode
- Fix several pinyin for Chinese language
Quality of Life
- Now tempura minigame could use numpad.
- Removing I (uppercase i), and l (lowercase L) in Hacker
Rebalance
- Make Chinese restaurant a little bit easier
- Make South Korean restaurant request more of marinated bbq
- Clear up the table in level 6-10, so it will make the level harder.
For the save file bugs, we didn't succeed to reproduce it, it might be because the file is corrupted, it might happened when the game quitted when it's writing the save file. We try to fix it by creating a backup file first before actually saving, so if the save file is corrupted, the game will try to load the backup file.
- For French, there's a bug in Tortilla Mini Game in Mexican Restaurant, the word "trancher" should be written with "tr" rather than "t" only, to prevent clashing with "tortilla" and "tomato"
- For Portuguese, So many fixes here, mainly because of the localization file use modified apostrophe rather than backtick, so it has a format error
- For Spanish, now allowing the letter with diacritic to be written with letter without diacritic.
- Completion Time Inconsistency: There’s a different from the leaderboard and the result screen, the correct one is in the result screen. It’s the realtime seconds without pause when opening pause menu, tutorial, or minigame
- Level End Bug: There’s many bug that related to level end, for example opening the pause menu, or there’s a minigame still going on, etc. It has been fixed.
- The 5th restaurant, level 2 is not accessible in Chinese Language: We forget to put the pinyin on the localization file, it has been fixed.
- jusqu'a in French language can not be typed: It’s because the apostrophe is replace with a fancy apostrophe in localization file, we decided to remove this word in the list.
- Disable Tutorial in settings is not permanent: When you quit, it goes back to default Checked, it should retain last state.
- The accesibility number for Scientist is not working: Now when you disabled number, you won’t get Chemical Formula for Scientist, only the drugs name.
- Sidequest “No Task Left” is not showed up: It has been fixed.
- The upgrade of Marinade Tray in Korean Restaurant is buggy: It should be start from 1, and then 2, and 3.
- Japanese and Korean Tourist doesn’t show the latin character in endless mode: It’s fixed.
QoL:
- Now you could see the price on the upgrade screen before open the pop up
- Uppercase Eszet in German is replaced by “SS”
- The Image of Korean BBQ Mini Game is modified so it’s clearer the difference of size and color
- The Capslock indicator is back: Before we have it on demo, but because we refactor stuff, we forget to put it back. Now it’s there!
