Evacuate the wounded, direct air support and hunt down terrorists and dismantle their networks. Help political candidates organize safe democratic elections.
REALISTIC BATTLEFIELD
Troops in extreme combat will withdraw. Dispatch MEDEVAC helicopters to extract the wounded and leave no man behind. Value the lives of your men, your equipment is hard to replace.
Clear roads from IEDs so that your supply convoys can reach remote FOBs, and patrols don't take unnecessary losses.
BECOME A COMMANDER
Hundreds of units will be under your direct and indirect control. Issue patrol orders, send humanitarian missions, establish bases in enemy territory, and take care of your troops.
A STORY INSPIRED BY FACTS
The province of Kushan is fictional, however the plot of the game and many missions were inspired by real events from the Afghanistan War.
1000 KM² OF GAME WORLD
The game environment is over 1000 km²; full of unique locations, natural landmarks, villages, towns, coalition bases, and outposts reflecting the Afghan landscape and conflict.
REAL IMPACT ON THE PROVINCE
Choices matter. One of your main tasks is to secure the province of Kushan and give power to its people. Secure free elections and support the candidate of your choice. Explore the different endings of the game depending on your actions and supported candidates.
INSURGENT CELLS
Kushan has been divided into 9 districts, each with an organized network of insurgents with different skill sets and motivations. Some groups specialize in recruitment of fighters, some in illicit narcotics used to finance their operations, others make IED's, or smuggle weapons.
Find them and destroy their operations.
AIR SUPPORT
Support your units from the air. Use attack helicopters, drones, bombers, and strike aircraft to get an edge on the enemy in battle.
Resolve risky missions from the air without putting your troops on the ground, but there is a risk of collateral damage.
Use helicopters for air assault operations and supply transport between bases.
INNOVATIVE COMBAT PREVIEW SYSTEM
Observe and coordinate activities of your units thanks to military drones at your service. The view from the drone allows you to use different vision modes (including FLIR and thermal views), carry out reconnaissance and set targets for air support.

Official update history
The update mainly addresses the drone loading bug
however it also updates some other mechanics.
- Better feedback on Direct Order for vehicles.
- Direct Order fix for vehicle units on defense mission before combat starts.
- Better size adjusting for the marker of attacked IB.
- Fix for mentioned issue with drone loading.
Here is another small update with the following changes:
1) Further Unit stat and firepower rebalancing.
2) Mission spawn frequency and difficulty rebalancing.
3) First 2 of the total of 8 new COP construction missions related to "name your COP" contest.
4) Further AI sprite replacement with official DoD photos.
5) Small mission spawn condition and location bug fixes.
6) New Direct Order projector.
7) Dead unit KIA marker added.
Larger content and feature improvement update is still a work in progress and will release as soon as possible.

This is a minor update, mostly focussed around the various mission and unit balancing issues. As noted in the previous update, this topic is a priority for us right now and is still a work in progress.
As we receive your feedback and further play test the various scenarios, we will continue tuning the multiple variables behind units stats and mission difficulty.

- Save System Overhaul optimizing the save process itself, as well as data storage process changes.
- Save system changes can potentially solve multiple reported issues with support assets, mission spawn and units availability.
- Auto resolve combat bug, visible as units spawning in the lower left corner of the map.
- Relocation error with Unit icon stuck over MOB.

Regarding the update:
- Due to deep code changes in some game systems, this update will only work on a new game.
- The most important part of the update are various fixes to bugs that resulted in player units stuck in the satellite view, unable to return to bases.
- Extensive testing has verified the success of those fixes. We remain open, however, to feedback, shall you experience issues known as stuck Units. Please make sure to play from new game to be certain all fixes from the update have been properly applied to your game.

This change has created a bug with explosive weapon damage radius, which is the main reason for this hotfix update.
We have also found and resolved further smaller issues with the way unit damage was calculated, resulting in further improvements to this system.

Direct Orders small fix of Control List not populating correctly.
New content:
New units for Enemy and US sides. JTAC, Sniper Team, EOD, Engineers, Seal Team 6, GROM and SAS.
Engineers required to build FOB's.
Supply Truck (Warhorse) added to the shop. Vital for certain humanitarian and supply mission scenarios.
Not all functionalities for new units are yet implemented.
Future updates will expand new unit mechanics.
As noted in the forums, we will now shift our focus and resources solely to bug fixing. We intend to have some information on schedule soon.
