About the Game
Taking elements from Exit 8 and I'm On Observation Duty, Anomaly Exit fuses the spot-the-difference genre with psychological horror. Additionally, the experience is designed with singleplayer and multiplayer in mind.
GAMEPLAY
- You only need to find one normal station to escape.
- If the station is as you remembered, exit the station, or else get back on the train.
- Take your time, remember the station... and don't forget it... something lurks in the tunnels...
- Hidden in plain sight. The anomalies are not subtle, but you need to pay attention.
- The station is small, but the anomalies are random and numerous.
- No cheap jumpscares. As long as you're paying attention of course...
- But you need to stay alert, avoid any strange beings in the stations, and avoid... the Anomaly Exit!
CO-OP MULTIPLAYER
The station is scary on your own, so team up with other passengers to try and help to remember your way out of the station together! Or you can go your separate ways, and see who makes it out alive.
PROXIMITY VOICE CHAT
Keep your fellow passengers in shouting distance, or you won't know what may happen to them in the other room...
This is a memory based game. So take your time, be patient, no quick reflexes required.
A headset is highly recommended!
Average playtime: 0.5 to 1.5 hours.

Second hotfix to address a couple issues that came in with the multiplayer fix + engine upgrade
- Adjusted some configurations to prevent certain graphical crashes
- Fixed achievements not being implemented to the new multiplayer system correctly

Hi all,
Just the other day I had to revert the recent update due to the engine upgrade breaking the way multiplayer sessions are handled somewhere deep in the engine.
I've applied a workaround for the bug and now the multiplayer is working as normal again!

Hi everyone,
Somewhat of a big backend updated. This is to prepare for any of the future updates I make to Anomaly Exit.
- I've updated the engine version to the latest stable version
- Adjusted a few build configurations to improve performance
- Adjusted hardcoded settings to improve visuals
The engine upgrade touches all systems in indirect ways, so if there are any bugs or crashes that come from this, your report would be very much appreciated!

Small critical fix today.
Some while ago I updated the engine which broke language glyphs for Thai and Arabic for some reason.
So I've fixed that up now.
Thanks to captain Majid for bringing this up! It had completely slipped under my radar.
Just a critical fix for the game today.
- Fixed a bug that made it impossible to pass a level when playing with the sound turned off in-game.
This game breaking bug has been present since the release of the game!! But since rarely anybody plays without sound, only a handful would have run into it. How crazy is that?

Hey all, Sorry! Last patch fixed a bug with finishing the game... but then broke the credits from playing. - Fixed credits not playing when finishing a level (Many thanks to PinkZepka for pointing this out to me!) Sorry for any confusion caused! ExamlGuy
Small critical fixes for today.
- Adjusted rendering methods to support a wider range of GPUs
- Fixed a bug where pressing both gates on level 2 will lead the player to getting stuck

Small bugfixes for today.
- Filled some missing gaps in the ceiling of the train tunnel
- Fixed ceiling collision on level 1 + floor collision on level 2
- Added Steam Cloud support, now your saves will follow your account

Small patch today.
- Fixed respawn/spectating system where it would sometimes be a black screen, or completely fail to respawn player
- Removed changing variants per run, as it was causing issues getting Anomaly Professional achievement, and was perceived as confusing, or buggy for little gain

Just a small update to address an issue where the Anomaly Professional achievement wouldn't be given on occasions when you're not the host of the game. I've fixed that now so it should be more reliable.

Small patch again.
- Simplified train seating collision
- Fixed missing collision on the phone divider
- One of the anomalies will not return to normal after the event occurs
(This is so that if other players miss it, they can still know what to mark)

Just the usual bugfixes for today.
- Fixed invisibly protruding hitboxes on certain objects to prevent accidentally marking the incorrect object
- Fixed delay when marking then remarking in quick succession
- Added a movement check on the phone so that in the event a player is stuck on the phone, pressing any of the movement keys will close the phone
