About the Game
A new entry in the CarX Drift Racing series features a real competition format and a judging system of modern drift championships. The new realistic physics and tire model are a perfect fit for steering wheel setups and other game controllers. To prepare for multiplayer tournaments, you will progress from a beginner drift racer to a professional pilot, competing in world drift series.
Multiplayer
Duels, TOP 32 and freeride in online rooms. Skill-based matchmaking and a rating system in online events for your comfortable experience.
For us, drift is primarily a sport. To launch a series of esport tournaments around the world is the primary goal of this project.
Customization
An advanced tuning system and customization. Suspension, gearbox, ECU, and other important parts of a racecar are upgradeable, tunable, and finely customizable.
The damage system adds an extra layer of realism and immersion. Losing a bumper during a close call or leaving dents in a leader’s door is now possible!
Locations
The game features laser-scanned licenced tracks: Ebisu Circuit & Fuji Speedway in Japan, Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany, Dominion Raceway in USA and ADM Raceway in Russia.
Career
You will start your drifting career in the drift school, learning the basics and mastering advanced drift control.
In Career mode, you’ll rise through the ranks - from local street contests to elite world championships. Compete in racing series, dominate championships, secure sponsorships, and fine-tune your cars to meet regulations. Most importantly, prepare yourself for the ultimate challenge - drifting online!
Controllers
We support most of steering wheels, gear shifters, gamepads, and other common controllers, available on the market, but we can always add more, the work’s not done yet.

A comprehensive reorganization of all stickers and their categories to improve the user experience
We’ve worked to create a logical structure that won’t require significant changes in the future
As part of the reorganization, several stickers were removed due to changed usage requirements; for most of them, a replacement to similar stickers have been set up. Check your saved liveries - you may want to make adjustments!
Many new flags have been added
A livery quality setting (sticker texture resolution) has been added
Added names for sticker categories
Added a section for saved colors in sticker painting
Fixed and improved pattern stickers:
Many now have colorable layers
Fixed incorrect tiling for some patterns
Stickers with 2 or more color channels are now marked with an icon. Categories consisting entirely of such stickers are also marked with an icon
Keyboard actions for “Undo,” “Duplicate Layer,” “Copy Size,” “Copy Color,” and “Paste Color” have been reassigned based on player feedback. In the future iteration: rebinding of all hotkeys in the editor will be available
The “Projection Type” action has been assigned to a gamepad button (D-Pad down)
The “Pearl” material has been disabled; it will be restored in the future after being fixed
The dialog window for applying changes when exiting layer editing has been removed; changes are now always saved. The corresponding dialog window for the entire livery remains when exiting the editor

Fixed an issue where you couldn’t start a test drive at the car market if a car without installed parts was selected in the garage
Fixed an issue where the engine sound was missing during a race after switching cars in the pre-qualifying round of the career mode
Fixed an issue with the assist changing when switching control schemes during a race
Fixed an issue with the drift school loading indefinitely

LIVERY EDITOR ADDED (Alpha Test)
LIVERY EDITOR is now available in the Alpha-test branch, In the workshop menu.
Additionally, “protosharing” feature was implemented: saving liveries as a file and apply from a file.
Livery files are saved in:
AppData\\LocalLow\\CarX Technologies\\CarX Drift Racing Online 2\\Cars
You can share these files with other players. From that folder you can also apply livery on any car.
This feature is temporary until a full-fledged Livery Workshop is released in the future.
How to participate:
Open your Steam library.
Right-click on CarX Drift Racing Online 2.
Select “Properties.”
Go to the “Beta” tab.
Select the alpha-test branch from the drop-down list.
Known Issues
You may experience more freezes when entering an online room with a player wearing a livery.
You may encounter connection issues when joining an online room on the Alpha-test branch.
