Build your own planet! The latest patch adds the ability to create and customize your starting planet for Adventure and Creative game mode.
A new button has been added to the character setup which lets you tune your starting planet.

The main theme of this update is Agriculture. Players can now plow soil cubes and sow them with seeds. Plants will grow and produce fruit. A plethora of seeds and plants has been added to the game. Some NPCs will have quests requesting these items; others will just buy them. All farming is done with the Farm-Tool gun, which plows soil and can fertilize plants to speed up their growth.

The host no longer loses access to the ship’s passenger seat, and players no longer get stuck on the respawn screen after dying in open space. We’ve also made a number of improvements to online sessions and fixed several critical bugs and crashes.
Online Improvements
Fixed a situation where a passenger seat used by the host would not be usable by clients after the host left it.
Fixed a situation where a player connected to an online session could get stuck on the respawn screen if they suffocated in space.
Fixed an issue where text on holographic screens inside ships was not being broadcast to players connected to an online session.
Holographic screens with text can now be locked against interaction from other players, like chests.
UI
Fixed numerous UI element overlaps related to the text scale option.
Fixed the Abandon Quest button appearing when no quest is active.
Added a warning when a star cannot be reached with the current warp drive.
Fixes and Improvements
Fixed the names of some items for consistency across all languages.
The difficulty setting that affects item prices now applies to both the Sell and Buy tabs on the commodities market.
Reward statues now level the surrounding terrain to ensure the chest is never inside a mountain.
Fixed a bug causing lights from another ship to appear in the editor when changing ships.
Fixed cases where low-level pirates would spawn without weapons.
The enemy count in enemy bases now differentiates between pirate bases and Darkness outposts.
Fixed a situation where a ship dealer would also sell speeders.
Fixed audio and video desync caused by excessively high frame rates during cinematics.
Fixed the first-person camera inside speeders.
Fixed a bug causing enemies carrying explosive bombs not to die from the explosion.
Fixed some crashes and improved overall stability.
A highly requested feature has been added. Now ships can be shared between players. Also, a passenger seat has been added to the game and other players can be brought along for voyages.
New Features
Ships can now be opened to control to other players. Like chest, they have a lock button to toggle the access of other players to it.
Ships which were taken away to other systems by other players can now be summoned back using the usual teleporting to ship UI
Passengers seats can now be placed in ships. Passengers will get transported along the ship pilot wherever they go
Ship inventory and appliances in ships are now available to other players
Bug fixes & improvements
Rendering of stars in space has been fixed to no longer overlap with other objects
Fixed a bug causing ship objects to get saved outside the ship and seem disappeared
The rendering of glass has been improved during night-time
Fixed the companion QB-1 attacking too far away objects
Difficulty scaling now affects all quest steps correctly
Displaying of ships which were designed asymmetrically has been fixed in the menu
Fixed the FPS affecting the camera movement speed in ship and blueprint editor
Improved network synchronization affecting ships, characters and laser turrets
Ship hatches are now fully synchronized across network
Players joining a session will no longer spawn above a pirate base if the host was in that area
Multiple UI fixes and improvements
A handful of crashes were addressed and fixed
The combat system has been reworked, weapon and enemy stats have been adjusted, the interface has been improved, extensive difficulty settings for dedicated servers have been added, and bugs have been fixed.
New Features
All weapons, enemies and combat have been rebalanced. Weapons now have various recoils, better aiming and different attributes.
The level of enemies now has a direct impact on their health pool, which is indicated in the health bar through the number of segments.
The damage numbers on screen indicate various information through their color: Red – a critical headshot, Blue: the hit was absorbed by the shield, and Gray: the damage had a drop-off penalty.
Multiple difficulty settings have been added to both the game and the dedicated server. You can now scale up or down various damages and crafting costs.
Multiple recipes can now be pinned, they can be seen in the inventory screen near the tasks area and hovering over the ingredients will show their name.
The F5 and F9 keys are no longer bound to quick save and quick load respectively.
Controller-based cursor control for UI interactions has been added to Consoles.
Improvements
The player’s skill level now affects weapon overheating in space combat and the number of blocks obtained when using the workbench.
Darkness purifiers now have stat tooltips.
Each secondary quest type now has its own icon to know which location on the map is for which quest.
Sounds for weapons have been improved.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a situation causing lighting in cities to become duplicated for dedicated servers.
Fixed small UI issues affecting the health and shield bar of the player.
Mining from a speeder now works correctly for online sessions.
Fixed the speed of day-night time passing on dedicated servers.
Some flickers from some 1st person animations have been resolved.
