About the Game
This story is a metaphor for climbing the corporate ladder.
Get To Work is a punishing, yet satisfying experience about a young man on a mission to conquer the corporate world... on rollerblades. Maneuver a slippery character with rollerblades on both his arms and feet that only knows how to move fast.
With your narrator, Connor 'CDawgVA' Colquhoun, to encourage you on your climb to the top, navigate through massive gaps, ramps, jumps, and other devious obstacles trying to bring you down.
And you may be thinking that the rollerblades are a little goofy, but at least we have....
Comedy at its... saddest? A fully narrated, satirical story about trying to survive in today's economy.
Shmooovement: A challenging, but deeply satisfying movement system that rewards you for going fast.
Podcast Pickups: Grab collectible audio clips from "The Grindset", a self help podcast voiced by all of your favorite streamers - Atrioc, Ludwig, DougDoug, PointCrow and more!
Speedrun Support: A built in speedrun timer so you don't have to manually track your splits.
A "Give Up" Button: Unlike your real 9-5 job, you get a "give up" button that you can press at anytime!
Just remember that everyone struggles to climb the corporate ladder, so try not to get too discouraged.

Hi Everyone,
First off, a HUGE congratulations to Brandwagen who beat the tower in an impressive 6 hours after launch to win The Doinkler Special Competition.
Tower Adjustments
We've made some minor adjustments to the tower (mostly fixing geometry where players were getting soft locked). The tower remains mostly the same, and most players shouldn't notice the changes.
Speedrun timer
The Speedrun Community has requested we add a timer for the Doinkler Special, and as such, we've added a timer that is based on height!
Quality settings
We've added 3 quality settings (Low, Medium, High). These give very minor improvements to performance, but for those struggling to get good framerates in the main game, this should help a bit!
Other Changes:
Fixed a bug where the attempt counter would reset when opening level select multiple times.
Removed "The Doinkler Special Competition" button in the title screen

When player's got this error, clicking "load" and "new game" wouldn't do anything.
The game will now recognize corrupted gamestates and rebuild their gamestate so players can resume their play.
Fixed an issue where the reset button would break controller input
Gameplay/Art changes
- Fixed a bug where PointCrow's audio (in the podcast) was not playing
- Added more recovery into the VP areas
- tweaked a "brown-wood ramp" in the first VP area that required a little too much precision
- cleaned up some textures at the end of middle management
- changed the jumps at the end of middle management (the concrete ones where you recruit the youtuber) area so players wouldn't get stuck between them and the wall
UI Changes
- Fixed the popup dialogue scaling incorrectly for certain screen sizes
- Updated Ui visuals for multiple levels
- Updated Settings menu for widescreen
For the speedrunners
- Updated the speedrun timer to show cumulative time saves throughout the run
- Added a restart button
- fixed save splits button being unpressable during end cutscenes
- Tweaked some load bounds to help mitigate some loading issues when going really fast
- Changed a collider so players couldn't fall out of the map in the warehouse trainee section
- Changed a collider so players couldn't get stuck on a shelf in the bedroom
- Made the first jump to VP slightly wider
- Fixed a major bug where players would de-spawn the map after becoming department head
- Adjusted the speedrun timer to display splits in a more intuitive way
