About the Game
Experience the newest twist on Tower Defense with cooperation and automation.
Keep Keepers merges the excitement of automation games with the strategic challenges of base defense. Night after night, exploit your enemy's varying weaknesses with different weapon combinations to defend your keep. During the day, invest in new weapons and upgrades, build your fortress, and plan for the upcoming fight.
Defending ain’t easy. Use the strengths of each of your weapons to wreak havoc onto your enemies. Each weapon type will drastically alter your playstyle. With Keep Keepers, we took everything we love about tower defense and automation games and tried to combine it with accessible roguelike gameplay.
Finding the right balance between your economy and defense is the key to success. Use explosives to mine diamonds, sell them in the shop, and invest wisely in enhancing the defenses of your keep. Will you choose a new smelter, grabbers for automation, expanding your weapon arsenal, additional ammunition storage, or defensive upgrades? Keep Keepers is easy to pick up, yet offers surprising depth as you try to master the game.
During the day you'll unlock new weapons, streamline your production, and upgrade your keep. Now is the moment to craft unwavering battle strategies. Fortify your keep and deliver your rallying speech, aiming to endure for as long as possible. We’ve just rolled out a new patch addressing a critical Unity security vulnerability that affected multiple versions of the engine. You can read more about it here:

We've been keeping a close eye on your feedback and continue eliminating remaining bugs to make your experience with the game even smoother. Here’s what we’ve fixed in version 1.1.5:
Fixes
- Fixed war drums not appearing for sling weapons in hard mode
- Moved the spawn point for “lost” items to a more visible location in Sandcastle
- Fixed bug for clients when upgrading weapons on a portable weapon holder after loading a previous game
- Fixed chain lightning effect not triggering when killing an enemy with its base damage
- Fixed magma totem not applying the correct volcano damage buff
- Fixed not being able to hide hints in certain cases
- Zoomed out even further in Quad Garrison to fully see the two bottom lanes
- Fixed defensive totem applying an incorrect amount of fortification HP when loading a game in some cases
- Fixed pushing firebug pile getting stuck after multiple nights or in practice mode
- Fixed some colliders in Twin Fortress to prevent players from moving to the enemy lanes after placing furniture

The first week is behind us, and we're amazed with all the great feedback we've received! Our list of suggestions keeps growing, and we’re working hard to prioritize the most important issues first. Fixes
- Fixed an issue where automation would break if a grabber targeted a grappling hook.
- Resolved an issue with red helicopters creating duplicated, uncollectable icons.
- Fixed an issue that caused new teleporters to display incorrect colors after loading a saved game.
- Addressed a bug where corner grabbers would change rotation upon loading if they had never been rotated.
- Fixed lightning towers not functioning properly within quad garrisons.
- Corrected a bug allowing medikits to heal barricades in practice mode.
- Fixed an issue where request storages would receive items via helicopter even when stored in the bin.
- Fixed a bug where the red helicopter could grab items during the day.
- Resolved an issue where the red helicopter would continue playing sounds during the day.
- Fixed a bug preventing the combination of pushing water fruits and the combiner.

Another day, another small patch is ready and will go live in a few minutes. This should be the last bug-fixing patch of the week and it also adds a little bit of quality of life that has been requested. Thank you all for your feedback & support, we feel blessed to have such a great community!

- Added setting to disable screen shake
- Added hint on the settings screen about how to change controls
- Myst & Magic: Added hammer range indicator
- Myst & Magic: Added smelter recipes that reverse water bowl recipes

- Reroll costs are now saved
- Fixed a bug where the shock totem was not working as intended
- Fixed a bug that caused music to stop playing on new game screens

The second patch is ready and will go live in a few minutes. This patch will focus on bugs that we have just learned about. If you were affected by the save problem, please join our discord and let us know, we can still recover your save game.
Fixes
- Fixed a problem where requesting storage was destroying save games.
- Fixed a problem where diamonds were sometimes not triggering helicopter arrivals.
- Fixed a bug where vaults were storing diamonds that couldn't be picked up after being combined from shards.
- Fixed a formatting issue in the German translation.
- Temporarily disabled cloud storage to prevent potential errors related to storage request bugs.
all in all the release went really well, no major issues have been reported. First patch is ready to go and will go live in a few minutes. This patch will focus on the few bugs we heard about.

- Fixed an issue where helicopter tooltips displayed a translation error.
- Corrected a bug where storage requests referenced balloons instead of helicopters.
- Resolved a rare bug that prevented diamonds from being picked up in vaults under specific conditions.
- Fixed a display issue with shop slot level 6 not appearing.
- Addressed a bug preventing the upgrade option from shop slot level 5 to level 6 from showing.
- Fixed a bug that caused helicopters in the shop to persist without despawning.
- Resolved an issue where enemies could pass through barricades on the desert map.
we hope you all had a great weekend! More than 200 players have already played the Keep Keepers Demo over the weekend.Additionally, Keep Keepers has been wishlisted more than 1500 times now which is totally amazing 🎉
We received a lot of great feedback and suggestions, but we also noticed that there are some crashes occurring depending on the system. With this small patch, we reduced some of them and fixed a few smaller issues as well. We will continue to do so over the next weeks and months while working on the full release!
