Official update history
It’s officially official to the point where it’s OFFICIAL, explorers!
Some unidentified objects had landed on Stellaris Prime so we took them back to our trailer for analysis, only to realise they’re goodies sent courtesy of Two Point Studios!
(A few of our Kindred scientists lost some fingers in the process, but it’s all done in the name of science.)
Get the lowdown on everything included in our last update of the year…
Two Point Museum's newest exhibit 👀
Christmas has come early for you lucky little explorers as several items from Two Point Museum have mysteriously teleported into your Kindred catalogue.
The folks at Two Point Studios have generously gifted us a chompy-baby-plant-thingy, a hippo-bear-looking-thingy and a spiky-chair-looking… thingy? We’re eternally grateful!
[img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45157720/8e0c0458c4cdac1f4c76d0c90498babffafd9f58.png"]
It’s simple: collect Alta Bucks, head over to your Space Trailer and add the Two Point items directly into your living quarters.
And don’t forget to interact with each item too!
A big thank you from everyone at Raccoon Logic to the Two Point folk for sending us these gifts while we’re still stranded in space 🧡
Outfit check anyone? 👕
Oh and before we forget: don’t leave your habitat without checking your wardrobe.
If you’re old enough to remember this little game called Journey to the Savage Planet, you might like what you find…
That is all.
[img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45157720/c71f8107cd13cf2163beeee2956a2931add36df4.png"]
P.S. This also marks the end of our Bingo Brawl community challenge - thanks to everyone who took part!
A big THANK YOU! 🫶
Today’s update officially marks the last update for Revenge of the Savage Planet.
What started off as coffee-fueled brainstorms and one incident involving an employee dressed as a furry in a raccoon suit turned into over 1 million players and countless memories.
Our entire studio would like to extend gratitude to everyone who joined us on our journey, whether you’ve been with us for two years or two minutes.
We hope you enjoy our final update as much as the rest - thank you for being part of this ridiculous, rewarding ride 🧡
With this update, you now have the option to play exclusively within the Steam ecosystem. Epic Online Services remain available, especially for crossplay sessions.
This setting can be found in the Options menu. Select Enable Steam Only Multiplayer to restrict matchmaking to Steam, or Enable Universal Multiplayer to switch back to EOS powered online play.
It’s creeping closer to Christmas but since the Brainards haven’t invited us around to their home for the big day, & we haven’t made it back to our actual home yet, we thought we’d carry on updating the game instead. You lucky things.
This is the first of a two-part update arriving in December & we’ll be sharing more about the future update very soon…
But hold your horses, explorer! Here’s a rundown of everything that’s just gone live, including in-game filters & plenty of bug fixes 👇
The Filters Are Alive?! 🎨
Remember those b-e-a-utiful filters we added as part of our Photo Mode update back in August?
Well, now they’re being let loose & you’re able to actually play with them in-game!
Fancy throwing 64-bit Kiwi Slugs, exploring an illustrated version of Stellaris Prime or inverting the colors of your habitat? Do it all with our screen filters from today!
[img src="{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45157720/3c3fd0f4e8ee15a3dcbcbd2d20641432ddf12314.png"]
Change up the entire experience & make Revenge of the Savage Planet feel like a throwback to the age of retro games or understand what it’s like to be a colorblind dog. Your call.
