About the Game
The Plucky Squire follows the magical adventures of Jot and his friends - storybook characters who discover a three-dimensional world outside the pages of their book.
When the malevolent Humgrump realizes he's the villain of the book - destined to lose his battle against the forces of good for all eternity - he kicks the heroic Jot out of its pages and changes the story forever.
Jot must face challenges, unlike anything he's ever seen if he is to save his friends from Humgrump's dark forces and restore the book's happy ending.
Jump between 2D and 3D worlds in this charming action-adventure - solving puzzles, boxing badgers, flying with a jetpack, and enjoying many more delightful and surprising mini-challenges as you become the hero of a living storybook.

Here's a new patch that addresses a crash in Chapter 7 and that visual issue we mentioned in the last notes.
- Fixed a crash when using the bomb stamp in Chapter 7
- Fixed the graphical issue causing visible lines on the book pages

Hey everyone! We are releasing a new update with many bug fixes and improvements. Here's the patch notes from version 1.13.1.

- Fixed being able to throw important food items to inaccessible areas in chapter 2.
- Fixed character getting stuck after interacting with the rabbit in chapter 2 if placing objects down in front of it.
- Fixed invisible platform in a section of chapter 2.
- Fixed an interaction to jump that could be triggered from too far away leading to the jump failing in chapter 4.
- Fixed being able to keep grabbing a block after it has transformed into something else in chapter 4.
- Fixed being able to progress to a further section of chapter 4 in an unintended manner early which led to other issues.
- Fixed the possibility to throw a key in an inaccessible area in chapter 4.
- Fixed a key becoming stuck in some furniture in chapter 5.
- Fixed character becoming stuck if jumping in a specific location in chapter 5.
- Fixed enemies becoming passive if not killing them when first crossing them in chapter 5.
- Fixed being able to go through a scary obstacle using brute force which would prevent from going back to the intended path of chapter 6.
- Fixed camera becoming stuck if going off the desk in chapter 6.
- Fixed the possibility to use the roll while pulling interactive objects in chapter 6 which lead to the character not moving as intended.
- Fixed becoming stuck between floors of the volcano if pressing the jump button repeatedly in chapter 7.
- Fixed camera becoming stuck between floors of the volcano if reloading after specific checkpoints in chapter 7.
- Fixed the possibility of getting stranded in an area if using an unintended solution to keep a bridge open in chapter 7.
- Fixed becoming stuck if using a stop stamp on a tank before getting the intended weapon to destroy it in chapter 7.
- Fixed being able to backtrack from a specific page in chapter 9 to prevent possible softlocks.
- Fixed NPCs repeating dialogue if reloading during chapter 9.
- Fixed the shopkeeper not appearing when using the Chapter Replay feature even when she has something to sell.
- Fixed developer information appearing on screen when using a specific combination of input.
- Fixed jarring movement on respawning after dying while grabbing an object.
- Fixed light bulbs colliding with objects and moving them to unintended positions.
